Fireplace Joy!

I was terrified that this enhancement would've been done via the Bartender Upgrade. I'm in a small fleet, and gathering 250 ales/rot guts was daunting to say the least. We have only done a few of the extra special upgrades, but this one makes us very happy! Especially when you compare it to the one the Other Guys got. Fireplace on a spaceship? Well, it has been done before... and a holographic fire won't eat your oxygen!

I will say that the Klingon-side got the better end on this Featured Project. The guards before were decent, but before that, getting those silly extra banners compared to the Fed side was a bit disappointing.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Ours is in progress......will be interesting to see how well the graphics are done. I'm thinking when we reach Tier 5, all the Targ running around will leave droppings all over the station. I'm just glad we don't have the optional to smell the Targ beds and cages. Prolly getting a bit gamey with out regular cleaning!

This is Bo'bus Bar'kerous reminding you to help control the pet population. Spay or neuter your Targ today!

For those of us who do use the bases, it's nice having a space with some character. Our fleet did not do the guards, banners, or any of them except the original open windows. This one, however, is a nice feature that feels useable. Not gameplay-functional useable (as all of these specials are cosmetic) but it becomes a place we actually want to meet at. For those who RP at all, it's even more of a good thing.

If I /em sit_Lounge in the right chair, I can rest my feet on the mugatoskin rug... Also, what's with the dance area? Maybe we'll get a pole decoration in the future? Betcha the Feds won't see that!

    You've missed the point...

If you RP,why haven't you got the rest of the special projects? It's all immersive, they all cost the same...

For me,STO isn't about tables and chairs,i'm in a fleet, but I choose not to contribute to these special projects,I leave that to people who have the time and inclanation too.

We're a small fleet, which means that Dilithium is the bottleneck. The main projects are using up all our dilithium, so a spare 200000 is not something we can do on a whim. The targs were not something that fit on a military base, plus we don't have a spare 200K D, so we ignore it. The fleet members decide which ones are worth the investment.

My point was that some of us DO appreciate this particular one! :)
