Its a very very large ship and is a bit difficult to fit in a lock box.

my guess is, that when the game was released it was probably to be a future c-store ship, but in my opinion the odyssey pack took it's place in the release scedule.
now the odyssey is the main "battleship" (it would still be a cruiser class) in the game.

i personally find it ugly as hell, even repulsive to a certain extend. A ship, even with the best stats in the game, i wouldn't dare touching...but to each his own.

it is interesting to see though, that for a cruiser it is running 2 sci abilities. Both tractors. Maybe those tractors arent really meant as sci abilities...would make cool engi abilities for lower BOFF slots in my opinion.
    Go pro or go home

to me its just a ship skin for the Soverign. it looks a lot like one to me... except it has the weird double nacelle look. and the deflector area is different.

Maybe it will be the Fed Anniversary ship next year... of course, a week later there will be a FL version and a week after that a lock box version and a week after that a FL retrofit version and a week after that a Lobi version...

...too many ands? And that's all you got out of what I said? Meh.

If they make it a Lockbox ship, I sorely hope they make it as common as the current Mirror Universe ones.

Honestly, at this point, I think it should be a Z-Store ship.

Of course, you can get really, really close to the look of the Typhoon with an Assault Cruiser if you have the Imperial skin.

The Neck and Nacells won't quite be right, and the Hull will be a tad off. Still, I'd fly my Regent around as a Psuedo-Typhoon until we get the real thing.

is that thing even around in anything other than the mission: war games?

I played it the other day with a friend and was surprised when he asked what the "cruise ship with nacelles" was. yes, thats exactly how he described the jupiter.

It's kind of fun just to look through the various dreads: http://www.stowiki.org/Non-playable_starship

Jupiter-class Dreadnoughts still appear in several story missions, as well as No-Win, Starbase Fleet Defense, and Fleet Action for the KDF.
