A Gorn-themed social zone like Ganalda space station, because the Gorn Hegemony is not part of the Klingon Empire, according to STO canon.
The Gorn are a part of the Empire as of 2404, according to STO lore. But some Gorn colonies, maybe even the homeworld, would be awesome. Maybe some similar stuff for the Orions too.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
Allow me to add something: in some soft canon, there are three Gorn castes, and if I remember right, they inhabit their own worlds and have biological differences. The old TOS Gorn skin still exists ingame, and we've yet to see the Enterprise Gorn ingame; why not let us choose parts from the three castes?
Also tails. Optional of course, but I swear I read that in at least one softcanon source one of the castes had a tail for swimming on their marshy planet. I'm probably remembering wrong, but that would be nice to have. My Gorn feels bare without one for some reason.
I'd love more options for he Gorn. The big one is All Gorn crew strolling around the ship. I'm currently working on a pure ship (100% gorn Doff and Booff). For the bridge pack, on the crew deck a lounge pool with added lighting and steamy heat...
I did think of an idea for a ground set. Lots of Close combat bonuses, and the set weapon is a melee one. Sort of like a pimped version of Perosnal mobility shield, Pyshical argumentation armour, and a Gorn issue whacking stick. Set abilities could be such as ignoring flanking fire for all three peices
I do play my Gorn as a 5th colmun type, working for Gorn indipendance, I even found a fleet with the same rough goal.

"Despite demands by hardliners in the Klingon High Council, J'mpok chooses not to have the royal family executed. Rather, he offers them self-rule as long as they swear loyalty to the Empire. Slathis agrees and is given a non-voting seat in the High Council. The Klingon Fifth Fleet is withdrawn from Gorn space. "
I interpreted that to mean the Gorn are allowed to manage their affairs, but the Klingons can still veto whatever doesn't meet with their approval. So I guess either interpretation works.

A few Gorn skins for existing ships. (The Zilant for the Vo'Quv?)
GHS (or something like it) prefix for Gorn ship names and ships with a Gorn skin.
A Gorn-themed social zone like Ganalda space station, because the Gorn Hegemony is not part of the Klingon Empire, according to STO canon.
Invent a set bonus for when you have equipped all three Gorn consoles (barrier field, acetone assimilator, repair platform)
Hell yes. My wallet is prepared.
I already own all the Gorn ships, but we need some non-science ships (as well as some fleet science ships that can compete with the Fed science ships).
There are a couple ideas to make this work:
1. New models, etc., which is rather time-consuming.
2. Make use of existing NPC-only models (Vishap, Naga, Tuatara, and the new dread model [not the old wedgy one]).
3. Give a golden, Gorn-style skin for existing ships, to give the impression that they were sold to the Gorn, followed by a Gorn refit.
Frankly, option 2 seems the most logical, from a time spent/money earned viewpoint; I don't like the look of the Zilant (I hate most lop-sided, asymetrical ships), but I'd love to have a Vishap escort/low-tier frigate, and the Tuatara/dread would make awesome cruisers/battlecruisers. Having a Naga fighter sold at 500 zen would make a great option to the To'Duj.
Then you have the Orions and Nausicaans; I don't play them, but they have some *GREAT* NPC models that just aren't used. The Slavemaster and Talon battleships are really, really nice-looking ships, and there are others as well.
Anyway, I just can't understand why Cryptic won't just take advantage of the hard work (and great work, at that) that their starship artists have done, and rig these ships for player use. Talk about easy money.

That is not correct. There is a reason Cryptic designed completely new ships when they made Nausicaan, Gorn and Orion vessels instead of using the NPC ones. First off, they are low-rez and it is easier to build a new model than update an old.
Secondly, you can't just copy&paste the design because of hard-points, coding, etc. Actually, I don't understand the technical aspect but then, I am just a player reiterating what the Devs posted.
In short, we not likely going to see copies of the NPC ships as playable. When they make new ships, they will be brand-new.
That's a general problem with the Trait system. Everybody should just get 4 ground and 4 space traits.
But actually, I made it a point for my Gorn to have 4 ground traits and still spcialize in space combat (yes, also PvP). Works well enough, so that should not stop anyone from playing a Gorn.
I like this idea; it would mesh well with Cryptic's choice to split the space and ground skillpoints.
As for mine, I only chose Accurate becuase I *hate* missing, lol. I'd love to be able to replace Cold-Blooded with Bite, though.
I would love to see a Gorn social zone that fleshes out their story a bit more. As for the Gorn's role within the Empire, they are most definitely a part of it now as a self governed vassal state, the seat on the High Council, if not a voting one, should say it all. If anything the Gorn are the most integrated of all the races in the Empire.

Why just Gorn? Orion and Naucassians need some love too! :P
In fact anyone familiar with the Gorn (non STO) would be rather disappointed with what they have turned the Gorn into in this game. STO Gorn are nothing like the Gorn, and I am not talking about appearance at all here. Their core beliefs, personality and such. These Gorn are what the Terran Empire is to the Federation.
Some might bring up the this is a game and so gameplay needs to take place first which is true enough. Doesn't mean us Gorn fans have to like it. I don't even have a Gorn character in this game and never will due to turning them into mindless violent dinosaurs.
But yeah just ignore that ^ part of this post, just needed to get that off my chest.
I prefer ground traits you can activate, hence I went with "Bite". One of my favourite STO traits.
Actually those activate abilities shouldn't be traits but inherent abilities sort of like bonuses for playing that particular species. Having 3 forced ground traits for a species is a joke however.
I normally with my species/characters try to go with al space abilities. The ground portion of the game isn't very good and in ground STF's a character with all ground traits won't do much better than one with only one ground traits for example. Space however seems to be a different story.

Cryptic has alluded to this in the past, and it *is* sort of true (I don't think they were lying, just not completely explaining it). Still, it's easier to touch up (make slight adjustments to the model, and re-texture if necessary) an existing model than start from scratch; you're eliminating two steps of the ship design process by doing so...namely, the design and basic modelling phases.
Another idea Cryptic could use...and I would pay dearly for this...make the Varanus the Gorn version of the Odyssey.
Reasons:
1. It's dead sexy.
2. The Gorn military, while much smaller than that of the main Alpha/Beta Quadrant powers, was still not something to be trifled with, in the books. They were very well-trained, worked well in groups, and their fleet involved ships that filled a wide variety of roles (it was suggested in a few cases that these ships were built on the same frame, but were equipped differently to fit these different roles...like the Odyssey).
3. Gorn technology was not backward or lacking; their tractor beam technology, for example, was referred to by many as being the pinnacle of Alpha/Beta Quadrant tech in that field.
4. It would eliminate the need to make new models/textures, while giving the KDF players more options, which are presently lacking.
If that doesn't meet with Cryptic's approval, I hope we can at least get a Fleet version; it's just too beautiful a ship to fade into obscurity, simply because it lacks a Lt. Com bridge officer slot and 3rd tactical console.
Oh, and if any of you lot from the Gorn Hegemony ever need another guy for any group stuff, just give me a holler in-game; I'm @Maschinengeist in-game, and I'm always down for group KDF stuff.
Why just Gorn? Orion and Naucassians need some love too! :P

I agree that the Gorn in this game...at least, the NPC's...aren't what they should be. Cryptic dressed half of them up like dumb ogres in chains walking around on Qo'nos, and you have to get rather creative in the uniform options to come up with something that doesn't look like a Klingon uniform of some sort. I also hate the way my bridge officers are always saying Qpla, or whatever, to me, and talking like Klingons. Then there's S'stass (or S'tass; both are in-game NPC's), the captain you meet on DS9 during the 2800 missions; if he isn't a shapeshifter, I don't know who is; he acts just like a Klingon. It's all rather irritating to me, but these are some of the many things about STO that I generally try to ignore, lol.
That said, I completely agree that the Orion and Nausicaans need love, too; I've been asking for the Slavemaster and Talon battleships to be made playable for ages, among other ships.
However, they really need to stop making low-level stuff, and make more ships that are usable at end-game. The Phalanx and Draguas, while great ships for their respective tiers, don't help us in the long run. Neither does the Koro'tinga, Ning'tao, Dacoit, Corsair, and several others. We don't need more Commander/Captain-level stuff; we need RA-level ships. I just leveled a new Gorn character, and he spent one day in the Phalanx, and just over a day in the Draguas, before progressing to the Varanus.
If I have to level my characters in Klingon ships, fine; I won't be in them long anyway; the end-game choices are the most lacking on the KDF side.
In fact anyone familiar with the Gorn (non STO) would be rather disappointed with what they have turned the Gorn into in this game. One thing to remember is that the Gorn "joined" the Klingon military only six years ago. The integration simply cannot be as tight as Cryptic indicates.
Agreed. Some in-game references that support what you're saying:
"The capabilities of Gorn Science Vessels continue to impress the Klingon Defense Force. The Gorn Phalanx Science Vessel boasts advanced sensor technology on par with the best Starfleet has to offer."
"Gorn starship designers are pushing forward KDF technology with new vessels designed to support a team or fleet in combat."
"A Gorn Hegemony design that has been converted for use by the KDF, the Vananus has the most advanced technology in the fleet."
The Gorn starships aren't sitting in mothballs, being replaced by Klingon battlecruisers; rather, not only are they the most technologically advanced ships in the fleet (which the books would support), but the Gorn starship designers are still making new designs.
Also, if you walk around in First City, you'll see groups of Gorn here and there, talking...and sometimes, they'll say things like, "The King will only cooperate with the Klingons as long as it benefits the Hegemony" or something like that...so it seems that things aren't exactly as buddy-buddy as they appear on the surface.
If your paying Zen for any ship, then it should come with its own unique bridge. Hopefully with specific racial ships be crewed by that race. I fully support more fleshing out of the Gorn, Orion, Nausicaan, Lethean and Ferasans. I have a Gorn engineer and want to pilot a Gorn Dreadnaught.
More costume options for players and npcs. Also weapons for ground, melee and energy based. I really wish they would have specific racial loot tables. Vaporizing some pointy eared Romulans and you get phaser weapons. Plus they are not making the best use of the so called blackmarket vendors.

Captain Bipto: What's the problem? Just vaporise; everyone, everything, boof, mission accomplished, medals, awards, a parade, next!
We've already offered money; it's time to try blackmail.
Seriously, though...I really wish we could get a tactical cruiser version of the Varanus; if it's as advanced as the fluff indicates, that shouldn't be a problem.
Hell, they turned the Fleet Corsair into a science cruiser; why not make a Fleet Varanus that's a tactical cruiser?
I have to agree. All the minor races' ships should get proper interior and crews. AND I see no reason why my Klingon ship has a mixed race crew. Never saw it on the show. Why would subjugated races be allowed to serve on a Klingon warship ?
As auxilliary force with their own ships, fine. But never on my warship !
Better yet, let our doff's populate our ships. This way each captain has it in his own hands.
I am a mostly fed player, and I have a KDF KLINGON, but I agree, give the gorn more stuff. I always hate it when I see gorn on the ground because that means my life will be made hell by walking dinos that heal faster and do INSANE melee damage. And whenever I see a zilant I always groan because that means I will be dealing with EWP and interestingly strong disruptors.
But yeah, GIVE THE GORN MORE STUFF!!! I always wondered why there were so many more Gorn npcs but only so few gorn ships available to players.
(btw, I have two gorn bridge officers, and they are SICK XD)
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

It won't happen with the Vo'quv, since the models are too different. But a stand-alone Zilant might work.
The Gorn flagships in "Fleet Alert" don't use prefixes. So it doesn't look like they use them.
