HE only clears on the fist tic, a good thing imo. i use warp plasma all the time, i see it happen all the time that some one uses HE and the fire reapplies and is not cleared for the rest of the duration. its a good thing! all the team skills should have a 1 second clear too!
DEM is bugged, proboly has been forever because its effect is barley noticeable. whats buged is that it apply none of its extra damage wile an over time tactical ability is also effecting your weapons. tactical abilities like FAW, CRF and CSV. there is no extra shield bypassing damage during wile they are on.
if your just gonna give some escorts a random bump that they didn't need, why not give fed cruisers a 2 point bump across the board. only the excelsior would match the galor's turn rate if you did that, and the galor is hardly game breaking for a cruiser due to turn rate. they would still turn worse then kdf cruisers, and could still never use DHCs, but they would just be nicer to fly, and it would be a tiny bit easier to protect a shield facing getting shot up. it would also make things like single cannons builds viable on ships like the regent, some fed cruisers could use something other then beam arrays for a change.
Just how is it overpowered? It's sort of like an RSP that lasts 7seconds with a little hull heal in exchange for lasting for less time then RSP. It also only triggers once every 5mins and takes up a con slot. Hardly seems overpowered to me.
The ships seem good but hardly overpowered.
You say blantent disreguard for pvp for clearly the new abilities have been planed out to not be overpowered for PvP. They but some thought into PvP.

blantent disreguard for pvp because rather then focusing on fixing some of the major issues with it, they introduce a new "power" that will only complicate fixing the issue at a later date.
its nothing like an rsp, an rsp can be countered. the backstep ability can't. i really dont have a problem with the backstep though, its the set bonus thats them not caring about pvp.
there are also worrying combos that may or may not lead to broken or "unexpected" combinations from the freeze/backstep that is the more game breaking thing.
i mean come on... you can't seriously think its a "good thing" to have an ability that has absoultly no counter that freezes a person for 7 seconds.

Yes I see it as good as I do not see it doing any harm (I might change my mind after play testing). Why does it need a counter? Not everything needs a counter more so with its current drawback. I just do not see how 7seconds once very 5mins will cause a massive problem as it seems pretty balanced to me.
As for the set bonus as far as I am aware we do not have the set items stats or set bonus stats yet. All we know is it is some sort of beam and torpdeo.
I guess the real question is, can this ship hold up to the bug? I honestly think that it can. I mean, it's got fantastic shields, decent hull strength, a near-perfect bridge officer setup, and it can use the time jump to save itself. Slap on an RCS for turn rate issues and you should be fine, or if you're really that worried, bring Aux to Dampeners. I personally am very much looking forward to this ship.
I'm just a bit curious about the set bonus though: does that recharge ALL the skills? Because if it does, does that mean, effectively, that every 5 minutes I get a DOUBLE subnuke (assuming I use this ship on my science captain)? Because that would be seriously awesome.
The ship that kinda disappoints me is the Wells class. Don't get me wrong, it's ok for a science ship, but the sci ships we have are already pretty darn good, and the Wells is just ... ok, in my opinion anyway. Nothing spectacular.

In Premade PvP it will make the bug look like a Shuttle by comparison if built correctly. The Destroyer is every bit as much a Sci Ship, as the Nova is, while being every bit the Scort a mvam is when built correctly. It's not just OP like the bug. It's rottenly OP.

borticus gave the full details on the timeships consoles and what they do together in another thread.
apparently! ment to say 'an ens eng' as in an ensign engineering station. just saw a thread of folks complaining that it has an ENS tac though. they are complaining like it was intentional and not a bug, calm down guys it will get fixed. its in writing what its supposed to have.

they also put a disclaimer on that page "ship stats are subject to change"
so this bug could very well be covered under that if they decide to not fix it.

Honestly Mai when is the last time you logged in ?
That being said, the most worrying ability seems to be the set bonus.
The escort version is 15 too. Which is a nerf for an escort.

I disagree with this completely.
CommanderDonatra@Capt.Sisko: ahhh is it supposed to do that?
Norvo Tigan@dontdrunkimshoot: hell ya, maybe

Yep, it's 5km.
Correct, 15 is less than any fleet escort if I remember correctly. Even the patrol has 16. Bug has 20, lol.
Edit: it seems those ships are built on same chassis...

they do great harm.
"duty officer gives you 20% shield resist when you use extends"
"chance to disable subsystem when a target is being energy siphoned"
my god cryptic.... you must serious hate us. everything we've asked you to look at to reduce has been massivly boosted with these damn doffs.
what the ****!?
its supposed to have en ens ens right? whats it actually have?
A conundrum?

Not that I would know anything about that.
