All I want is 200 dil per zen. I made a ton when it was 155-ish, at about 200 my 750 zen will be closer to 1000. 250+ and I'll be one seriously happy camper.
I'm really considering selling off the accumulated zen on my various toons right now, while it's still 160-ish.
People spent a lot of zen for the master key sale, so there's a slight shortage on that end. Nothing spectacular going on, I think. Although I suspect it will keep rising a bit once the temporal lockbox is out.
Dilithium always goes up when new Lockboxes come to town. New Lockbox means demand for Zen to buy Keys. Plus we're coming into the last few days for the Key sale. In 3 weeks when everyone's bored with the new Lockbox it will go back down as the focus returns to Fleetbase grinding.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Yet, there is never that much of a change in rates. When fleetbases came up, people on the forums took a look in their magic crystal ball and foretold 1 Zen will be below 100 Dil. When I watched the eschange, it never dropped below 150 and on the other hand, never was significantly higher than 160. That's like the default value it most likely will have unless something relly ****s up the market.

The highest i ever saw it was 161 when i started playing again a few weeks ago. It would be nice if they had an hourly or daily chart of the rise and fall of the zen price. I gues its kind of like the stock market. lol
Asx has been said above Dilithium starts to fluctuate asd soon as any new item that costs Zen is announced. However, I agree that, with Dilithium in demand more due to Starbase projects, I would be surprised to see it climb to the heights it had prior to Season 6.
But, it's effectively a 'free market economy' on the Dilithium Exchange so anything's possible. I do find it interesting that people claim Cryptic manipulates it, as, if that were the case, I think you see it stabalize at a much higher point in general, as players buying Zen is how the game makes it's money, so, if Cryptic were manipulating things, I'd never expect the price for one Zen to go below 300 dilithium; and tend to stay above that mark, nore often then not.
I picked up 3000 Zen while it was around the 150 price point.

Primetime UGC guys should make a character that gives a market analysis twice a week on video. Theres a guy in the Jupiter Force fleet that had a great market analysis few weeks back. He should voice the character or supply the script. I once said STO should do a mini foundry mission with a news anchor character in game when you log in that gives the news in game for all their z store stuff etc with a voiceover, but their obviously too lazy or uptight for such a cool and effective marketing tool idea for those who dont come to the forums much.

And me and my base thank whoever is responsible for the hike in exchange rates. 160 Dil per Zen and that was cheaper then the lowest amount shown! Sold 1000 zen in half a second!
I prefer the amount low. I made 4,900 Zen last month and, even with the prices going up, I should make about 4,100 this month. Before Fleetbases I was only averaging around 3,000.

What does this have to do with the price of Dil/Zen ?
Sorry nothing, I posted when tired and meant to put this in the scheduled maintenance thread and wasn't paying attention. My bad, I apologize.

it does it every time, but it wont get near 400 because starbases will still drag it down.
