i certainly would like to get rid of the USS on my Galor / D'Kora / Jem Hadar Bug...
not playing them like they were part of the Federation, more like, Mercenaries with their own Ships.
Having the I.S.S. Title does open up a whole round of possiblities.
SS (with the NAR Prefix) for Federation / Non-Starfleet Ships.
SD for Spacedock Shuttlecraft
ECS for Earth Merchants
IRW or PWB (Romulan Warship designation used in DS9) for Non-Romulan Faction - Romulan Ships
IKS for Non-Klingon Faction Warships (like those sold on the Black Market).
Cryptic could easily add designations for other ships too that was mentioned on show like FGMS, FMS, GCS, GHD (Registries mentioned in DS9). Memory Alpha thinks GHD could mean Gorn Hegemony (D could be Destroyer), and FMS meaning Federation Merchant ship.

And I'm sure we can think a ton more as well.
Really? The registry numbers on your ships are gonna make you open your wallet again? Or enjoy to play the game more?
Well, Diogene, you're certainly entitled to your opinion.
I, however, would welcome such a change. I would really like to see a neutral merc/civilian faction. I was going to roll up a pseudo-freighter captain and I was thinking how nice it would be if we could have an "S.S." designation, or even ditch the U.S.S. altogether.
Considering that I have tons of dilithium and therefore plenty of zen, without actually having to spend any real cash to get it (you fools), I'd be willing to drop zen for it.
Granted there are plenty of other things I'd like to see in game, but you can NEVER have too much customization.
Foundry missions: "Salvaged" and "Preemption (Federation)" brought to you by the former "Tom_Riker01".

Oh you can. And I don't think the Federation is a neutral faction. It's not. If you want a neutral faction then ask for this feature instead of asking immersion-breaking features.
Create an MU faction if you want people to be playing MU characters. Otherwise it just diminishes the cohesiveness for the majority of us who play actual Fed characters.
crafting needs reworked, it's no longer...if it ever was a dilithium sink and is just worthless.
kdf needs content
there needs to be some way to gain MKXII reward gear from missions.
more stf's
more endgame content in general
I would not take too much from what Gecko says. If there was an award for biggest troll, knowing the least about the game he works on and biggest backtracking of the year, He would win every time  :P
Could have sworn they said that having I.S.S fed ships was a no go? Using the past military examples of captured ships being renamed?
Have to agree with points raised..
Kinda low priority in my honest opinion
Also, while its nice for RPers, its just silly. The UFP admirals giving missions to Terran warships...
- well then again almost every mission has a 'kill such and such'/'destroy such and such' Thinking of the Tv shows, the Federation used words first, not phasers
[Combat (Self)] Your Bite deals 2378 (1475) Physical Damage(Critical) to Spawnmother.

Completely serious... Id love to be able to change the USS or NCC on my ship. We already have NX... so lets get some more.
There's your sto development priorities right there

a history of sto pvp: 2010 - 2011

Just wait, the excel sheet of doom will mutate the ship prefixes into a 90% effective SDR.

Or on my Galor... and I would love to have S.S. for my Tuffli.

Ill just make it another 10 months then they wont be seeing my money eh.

nonsense.
Where did I say anything about money or C-store just for the titles?
Titles should come free with the purchase of whatever ship you get: Lockbox, C-store, Reward, or plain ol Freebie.
Vice Admiral Volmack ISS Thundermole
Brigadier General Jokag IKS Gorkan
Centurion Kares RRW Tomalak

I do hope that the price will be ridiculously high so that we don't even see this feature in game.
God, lvl 60 CW. 17k.

I agree!
With so much to fix, I can not believe that developers spend time on it!
Example:
so true!:D
My character Tsin'xing
I know right? Heh heh....
Yes, some people play that way. (Quite a few actually)
