Hamlet Assignment Mysteriously Disappearing

I've had this happen twice. When the Hamlet repeatable is to complete, it instead disappears from the log entirely (and goes on cooldown). The doffs sent on assignment are made available again.

It's definitely not merely my imagination - as I said, I've noticed it on two specific occasions, and I haven't noticed this behavior with any other mission.

Also, unrelated question. During the period that the primary, non-repeatable version was repeatable, did anyone actually get multiple William Shakespeares from repeating the initial assignment?

Actually I've heard of something(server hiccups?) causing assignments to get dropped instead of completing more than just that one. I'm not sure how often it is but at least once a week I login and see that a char has an empty slot that I thought I filled. I might start keeping a log of in-progress assignments...

Um... I actually managed to get one of my chars to crit the original buggy Hamlet twice. No, I didn't get a second Shakespeare(I got a blue Orion entertainment holo). Erm... actually, I think the way it worked was that the mission couldn't be repeated at all unless you crit it, apparently the "semi-repeatable" nature didn't work and you could NEVER redo the version of Hamlet that gave Shakespeare.

I've had this happen on the Hamlet assignment as well. That's the only assignment I definitively remember it happening on, although it's possible it's happened on others as well.

I haven't seen this with the hamlet assignment but I've seen it before on others (I even submitted a bug report for it).

I had done 3 asylum missions and I got the message in my textbox I completed all three of them. When I opened my DOff screen I only saw 1 asylum assignment in the completed section and only that one in the log as well.

lots of interior ship assignments menu are bugged or incomplete.
For example one of the interior ship officer for klingon gameplay it doesnt even have a "Back" menu/option.
Chef assignments sometimes are displaying as available but when you go to accept it doesnt show up the tribble required for cooking even if its in cooldown.
Worst, many times if u just click on assignments at chef and you go back or close it becomes greyed out and you cant start it anymore..
Interior ship assignments are a good idea but the menu navigation is BUGGED, specialy on KDF players.

Criss, just thought I'd cut in to tell you that quote is originally from HG Wells' "The Time Machine".

The movie is completely not comparable to the book. There's probably a good dozen times more detail and dialogue in the book than the movie, a lot more scenes and plot. In contrast to the fairly action-packed movie, HG Wells novels have tremendous depth and detail, and are written in a Victorian mentality - cool and rational.

Some of the movie adaptations are better than others. If you want a great movie experience watch all of them! :D

If you want to watch a great movie, watch a great movie, but, as they say, the medium is the message.
There's no substitute for reading the book.

I suppose, but after watching multiple takes on that story, I like to ponder the different ways that film makers have adapted the book to movie form.
