Fellow Warriors,

I want to invite you to check out a new blog that is being hosted by Priority One, written by yours truly.

The first installment was just posted today. Please check it out. Also, I would appreciate your leaving any feedback regarding future topics you think I should cover. This blog is a dedicated STO KDF blog, and so I want to make sure I hit on topics that are relevant to our faction:

Qa'Pla and very well done, I look forward to reading more. Made me considering putting one of my alts into a larger fleet for some more Warrior bonding in battle! :D

Well written. Though I must add, the "lone wolf" players can continue to operate as such in post S-6, simply by finding the right fleet, one which continues to allow the freedoms lone wolf playstyle players prefer. I agree that now more than ever, combining forces is needed if you want access to the fleet goodies, and of course there are enormous benefits for grouping. I worry at times however that this will alienate the lone wolf players, and there is really no game on the market who should be taking any action to alienate any sub group. We already have alienated the crafters... :(

    jnohd:

Thanks for this response and for voicing concern about ind players. Perhaps in my zeal for the glories of team victories I have overstated my point to a fault. My critical remarks toward "lone wolfs" was not in fact targeted toward non-fleet, individual players, but rather toward players who take a "John Wayne" approach to things like PvP (a sure strategy of defeat!). I was criticizing the "Rambo" approach to battle and replace it with notions of comradery, etc. I am trying to emphasize that the greatest part of season 6 is not the stuff but the opportunity to forge new friendships in battle.

What I should have done was make it a point to state that I was not meaning these comments to be critical toward players who simply don't want to do the fleet system. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, jnohd.
