Does Anti-matter spread work against Borg?

Hello all, I have a question for you.
I purchased the Exploration cruiser refit recently with some extra moo-la just for the Anti-matter spread module. I've seen the module work wonders AGAINST me in PVP, and wanted to try it. Anyway, I mostly play Elite STFs, however, and it doesn't seem to help me get out of a jam against Borg at all. Is it just me, or is this console useless against Elite level Borg? Have any of you actually had SUCCESS using it in Elite STFs?

    I also question this. I've been using AMS with my MVAE and hit AMS to try breaking enemy target lock when I start taking too much fire. Doesn't seem to work as well anymore. Doesn't seem to confuse as much. Not sure if this is an aggro issue or if the AI on STF elite is just too good at reacquiring it's target. Any ideas?

    That's kinda intentional. Even in the Best of Both Words, where Antimatter Spread was used, it didn't confuse the Borg very much (and when it did, only for a number of seconds).

    So, in translating that to in-game, Borg are highly resistant to Confuse effects to reflect that.

    Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

    yes it does work in STF's , it makes them target and attack each other for the duration of the spread

    It placates for a few seconds (when I used it on someone, I was told that he was only confused for about 4 seconds, but then there was another 4 seconds of when I disappeared and reappeared....so, it should be able to last 8 seconds).

    I have used it the Cure, and it has worked for me. Are you using it on a cube? Is there anything around the cube that it can attack?

    Also, how far away from your target are you? It only works within 5km.

    I use it, but not against Borg... I mostly use it when I get NPC ship in multiples, like 3 Kling BOPS, or 3 Romulan BOPs.

    Works pretty good on them, as one of the benefits is that they start targeting each other for about 30 seconds.

    I used it on my Cruiser, it worked just fine. I loved that cruiser...
