How often can free academy doff's be farmed?

How often can the free duty officer assignments be farmed at the academy? I am referring to the general recruitment doff mission offered by the female officer behind Fera as well as the other doff missions such as tactical, civilian, etc...? And what about the species specific doff mission givers? How often can I do the Vulcan, Andorian, and Tellarite doff recruitment missions?

Is there a timer that is required to countdown in order to repeat the mission? Or are there specific days of the week that reset when you can do the doff missions again and get more doffs?

Also, can anyone tell me the exact dilithium amounts gained from doing normal and elite STF's on the bonus Weds events? I know EDC is doubled, but how much dilithium do you get from doing a normal or elite stf on the correct day?

Thank you for your time.

I haven't done an exact timing for it, but I think that the cooldown for the Cultural Exchange missions is 72 hours, and 96 hours for the Personnel Officer.

Standard caveat applies: I can always be wrong.

Sorry for reviving this but I started to played STO about a week ago so...

Is there any plan or something that would allow us to see when a cooldown expired on certain mission done (including recruitment ones on bases or in sector space)?
It feels pretty silly to write these things down so I can return when I see on my paper that 72 hours for example passed and I can get another Vulcan exchange Doff. I mean... We're playing ST game where an information should be automatic, not some medieval MMO where you have to take notes on just about everything.

Though its not that hard to simply check the Personal Officer. I check with her every day, just before I do the Academy 'Lore' mission (daily) for 480 Dilithium...

Pretty dead on except, (and this goes for Klingon conscription as well) the general recruitment is on the 72 hour timer. The one's that target areas, tactical science, civilian and engineering are on the 96 hour timer.

Grouch, it's not just about four recruitment spots on the academy (FED), but now I'm also wasting my time on lurking within all available sectors because I'm unsure where and when exactly did I get some crewmembers (IIRC a refugee and definetly a pack of 5 colonists).

Okay in time when I fill all the Doff capacity (100 base and expandable to 400?) I'll probably just ignore those longtimeconsuming missions that give irrelevant amount of cxp, but till I'm "fully equipped" keeping a track on Doff recruiting cooldowns is really a pain.
See it's not just Doff cooldowns. I also don't know when can I get another drink on my ship exactly with my bartender as I don't see a cooldown anywhere. By your logic I should visit a bridge all day long just to see if that mission is available again and it's stupid, right?

Though actually, you're missing my point here.. The Academy 'Lore' Daily mission is the quickest and easiest way to pick up a 480 Dilithium everyday. (and a visit to the Personal Officer is only a few seconds delay in doing this mission...) And this can be a sure thing, as all the answers are posted on the STO Wiki. If you're not doing this Daily, then you're really missing out on this resource...

As for the Bartender assignments, I personally don't bother with them, as I find I get more 'Romulian Ale' from hitting crits on collect 'Contraband' assignments (which I do anyway, as part of my Dilithium grind) And 'Dosi Rotgut' can be produced from an assignment that is unlocked after finishing the Tulaberry chain...

Dailies for dilithium are offtopic, I'm not missing those history lessons nor three quick missions on Sol starbase.

As I've already said, I'm still new, of course I won't be bartening after I play the game for three months, of course I won't be eager to check all sectors for certain missions I'm trying to pinpoint now (chains, doffs, duty officers, anything worth dxp), etc. For example, a screenshot of what am I talking about, spot the cultural exchange I can't possibly know when the cooldown will wear off so I can seek for it again in the future all over sectors:

The point is why we can't see in the game itself if at least "standard" missions (those not in sectors) are available again. If the timer for daily missions you mentioned exists...

Okay. I see what you're flying at now.

The non-SFA Cultural Exchanges are not always available. That's why they're listed as Rare in the sector list when you pick them up. So even if the timer was complete and you could theoretically get that mission again, you might go days without seeing it again. For that matter, you could be completely asleep (or otherwise engaged) for the one 4-hour period that it's up and active.

So for the more-than-simply-rare Rares out there, knowing the timers would simply be an exercise in errata.

Yet, because I personally enjoy that particular type of mental self-abuse, I'll say that STO likes to do things the same across a category. So if the three SFA (and whatever is available at First City, for that matter) Cultural Exchange missions are at a specific cooldown period, then ALL Cultural Exchange missions will be on that same length of a cooldown.

Standard caveat applies; I can always be wrong.
