The team at TrekRadio has posted their recap of the STO Developer Panel that took place this past weekend at the Star Trek Las Vegas convention, including a full video recording of the panel interview.
Disappointing indeed. This is something I can not point prospective new players to.
Cryptic and all involved took a great step forward in deciding to steer publicity in STO's direction, hopefully if all involved attend this next time (if not in more places in the meantime), better provision for recording will be considered.
The audio reminds me of being in a airport and trying hear the intercom. I hate to think of this happening on a starship

Commander "Kill the red shirt? ok!" *sets phaser to kill and fires*
Random Captain "I said save! Commander!" *he yells*
We have repaired the audio as best as possible, mixing in audio from 3 out of the 5 microphones in the room.
Due to a glitch, audio from the moderators mic (Risa and Terilynn) and Dan Stahls mic was lost, however we have done our best to enhance this. Audio from the other 3 developers has been replaced and is now very clear.
Hopefully this will be much clearer for some of you folks.

Thank you very much for your hard work Trek Radio. MUCH IMPROVED!
Heck, Brandon, you should create a new news topic just for that reason (as people may not revisit this one)
Thanks Brandon (Random question: First time I've been on the forum since it switched to the new style - what happend to my post count?!)
Everybody's join dates and post counts started over. I has a sad for it too, but imagine the nightmare of trying to sync it up when many people's account names changed at the same time (mostly due to conflicts with other people with PWE accounts by the same name.)

Thanks.
I wouldnt say we have "problems"... its a rubbish video, it should have been just thrown in the bin rather than uploaded.
I suffered a few mins of it then skipped ahead to see if it got any better then just switched it off....
But im sure the trek radio people did try their best to make it listenable...
this pic as 1920x1080 Wallpaper plz!

Hope you all had a great time.
I'm half deaf and couldn't hear it either, glad it wasn't just me!

Same here, I can't make out ANYTHING. It's completely incoherent!
It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪
