Borg Console Sacrifice for Odyssey?

I'm out of room for consoles on my tactical officer's Odyssey ship. I'm going to be getting the Borg console, most likely, and swap my Borg shields for MACO shields.

As such I would like to ask what, on my Odyssey, I should swap out. Although I am experimenting with the Science Odyssey, I will probably be using the Tactical Odyssey (the science Odyssey makes this decision MUCH easier).

At present, I have:

Engineering: 2x Neutronium, 2x Odyssey Set Consoles
Science: 2x Field Emitters, 1x Odyssey Set Console
Tactical: 3x Antiproton Mag Regulators (or other energy weapon boosters)

It looks like it's going to come down to chucking out a Neutronium or a Field Emitter, or part of the Odyssey set (probably the Aquarius, the thing's a death trap, though I don't want to give up the bonuses). I DO use the separation console pretty heavily, however. As such, I'd like opinions on what to do about this situation. Also opinions on if I should bother with the Borg set bonuses at all - and if the answer to that is 'no,' what I should get set-wise instead.

Thank you for any assistance you can give me - this has been perplexing me for a while, which is one reason I never went and got the console yet!

The Odyssey set bonus really isn't worth three console slots; my advice would be to scrap the escort first, because it's virtually worthless, and ditch the worker bees for a field generator. One neutronium is generally enough; put in say, an electroceramic console for STFs, or other more specific energy-type resist console. You'll get better mileage out of it.

Get rid of the worker bees first, the escort still gives you damage, but I would trade both for 1 Borg console and 1 more armor or filed gen.

The Sci oddyssey is better than the Tactical and Operations variants because of Sensor Analysis. That's up to +30% to overall damage, not base damage. Tactical consoles only boost your base damage.

The only console really worth using from the Oddyssey set is the saucer sep and maybe the worker bees. The escort pet's contribution is negligible; the heal from the workers bees is questionable; the maneuverability gained from the saucer sep is priceless.

There is actually a thread (wherein I am the OP) on this in the Federation Gameplay forum going on right now. According to my testing (and apparently that of many others), the Science Ody is rather inferior in DPS due to the very long time it takes for SA to actually charge up, and also makes aiding others with spare heals and such highly impractical. I seem to consistently drop 400-1000 DPS when I use the Science Ody unless it's a very extended engagement, wherein the boost is marginal.

Although PvP is cited as a potential place where this would make a major difference, anyone with a battle cloak can pretty easily escape it, and those with a regular cloak can often do so if they can withdraw from the engagement for long enough. I don't PvP much, but the other day on one of my rare matches someone was doing this pretty easily to me. I think I would have done a lot more damage if I was just in the tac Odyssey.

Not to mention the bug where space weapons lock is on the fritz, which has a high chance of negating sensor anaylsis... so until that's fixed, for right now, the Tactical does much more consistent DPS.
    Was named Trek17.

Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

What bug is this? This is the first I've heard of any weapons lock bug.

I would ditch the Aquarius console quite honestly. I bought the Tac Oddy thinking the extra DPS would be nice for my Engineer, but I find much better use from another run of the mill console. The extra DPS isn't that great, in fact I hardly even notice it, though sometimes it was good to keep Sphere's off my back in STFs.
