As far as emblems for the T5, this was overruled because the Excelsior is obtainable at Rear Admiral and you cannot gain emblems until you are VA. This isn't to say things can't change in the future.
Your points aren't going on deaf ears. I'm sure we'll be discussing this internally for days. We just tend to see these same arguments whenever anything goes into the C-Store that people really want. Obviously we will continue to react to player feedback and your concerns over items in the C-Store. We certainly talk enough about it in our meetings.
What's not there? I haven't purchased any CP/Zen in 7 months, I own every Fed ship and Uniform in the game, and currently have over 17,000 Zen on this account.
On average I earn 3,000 Zen per month between playing and Stipend. My best month was just under 5,000 Zen. I don't see how grinding Emblems pre-FTP is any different then grinding Dilithium post-FTP. I effectively get everything the game offers for sale for free every month, and have been doing so for 7 months now. All you need to do is play...
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Anyone remeber that you could by 1 uniform out of tbe c-sgore with a single months stipend? Unwarranted price increase?
It was stormshade that said they would not raise prices to negate our stipend, and they would always listen and act accordingly on tne c-store......I wonder where those principles are lately.......
Anyone remember when you didn't get a Stipend and had to spend your own money for 1 uniform? Stipends only started in December...

One can get into some serious legal issues if that isn't done.

 Wow, that's pretty sweet. You must grind out alot of Dilithium & on multiple toons. You even have time to do anything beside grind dilithium?
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

It takes me 2 to 2.5 hours to earn 17-18,000 Dilthium - and I can earn 8-9,000 in an hour.
And I don't consider playing "grinding." Virtually every thing you do in this game at VA earns you Dilithium. You almost have no choice but to earn it. If you do an STF, you get Dilithium. If you do Dailies, Dilithium. Do PvP, Dithium, and so on. Cryptic now pays me Dithium to do what they used to pay me Marks and Emblems to do prior to FTP. I'm just lucky that Dilthium has a lot more uses then Marks or Emblems had.
