A further set of patch notes for today's maintenance has been posted. Sorry for the confusion! :)

(Official word is pointing toward an Iconian plot.)

    What is the cause of the launcher getting stuck while downloading the new patch? Haven't had this problem in the past. This only just started from today's patching.

    Having the same problem with the launcher freezing. Only had this problem for the latest patch..

    In general, seems like a nice set of changes.

    It's cool that the suggestion in my signature image was partially implemented (Of course I don't know if it was actually inspired by my signature or not), but still having the store description text even now it is also in the tooltip kinda defeats the reason I suggested it, which was to make the dilithium section of the assets tab more compact.

    -Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! That was so very frustrating, trying to do repairs during STF's and seeing my toon's smiling face every time delaying me. Only a small delay and a small bug but a timely fix really makes me smile!

    still no fix for our cloaking device? For KFD and the Feds :-x
    CO LT, STO LT, played NWN and NWN2 before and another DnD games

    Not liking the new "Interact" animation one bit. Bad enough with the "gear" icon above every interactable object, now you went and made every object have a firey glow around them. What's wrong with just making the object itself glow, without adding a bunch of fx around them?

    Yeah, the launcher hung several times for me too, when trying to download this patch. I finally got it, but do feel I should mention this.

    One nice thing is these mine changes are working very nicely can't argue with better results. One thing I thought might be a neat idea would be after seeing the photon and quantums having 20% shield penetration if we had some doff missions to somewhat attempt to craft torpedoes with the same using transphasic torpedoes and another type of torpedo to try to create them...

    I understand though that this probally will never happen tho LOL :D

    I don't much care for the interact F/X. Now every console in the game has a glowing sparkling effect that makes them look like they are in the process of being beamed out of the area. I realize that some players are really dim when it comes to finding which console to use, but I think it would be better if the effect doesn't start until you mouse over the object.
    Areas like the exchange in ESD look positively radioactive, which seriously detracts from the realistic appearance of the scene.
    If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
    Oh Hell NO to ARC

    Thank Q I"m not the only one who hates the interact effects. Please give us a way to switch the effect off altogether.

    The Plasmonic Leach console can now stack up to 8 times again.

    This ability is still not stacking for me, at least I am still not seeing the stack number at the bottom right of the buff/debuff changing.

    I must say that I am liking the new adjustments to mines, and am considering using them more often in the future.

    Also, thanks for making the deployable Heavy Turrets more available--they were becoming a bottleneck in the starbase missions that required them.

    Question: Are the new Heavy Turret acquisition options a tacit confirmation that only phaser and disruptor types will be in starbase recipies?

    It sure would be nice to turf out all the other turret types taking up space in our fleet banks. :D

    I'm not sure this has been brought up elsewhere, but if it has, I'm sure someone will be along in a moment to question my reading comprehension.

    While the check boxes next to the doffs are all well and good, can we have some sort of option for only showing the doffs that are actually available for donation?

    Right now the workaround is for me to look over my roster and make a list of ones I'd like to donate before opening up the fleet window, then finding them on the list, which seems a bit over-complicated.

    Ones that are "currently on assignment" show up on the list.

    Ah, that explains why I haven't had the problem - don't use white DOffs for assignments anymore.

    But it is definitely a bug that needs to be fixed. How maddening!
