Phoenix Alliance - The Adventure RP Experience

The Phoenix Alliance is a fairly young fleet.

Only founded with the start of season 6 and teh introduction of the Fleet Starbases like so many others.

What makes us different is the dedication to build the base for the story behind it, not for some semi interesting stat benefits.

The building of the base is the story centerpiece and upgrading it is a representation of passed time and progress of it's members.

Set earlier than the STO official STO story in 2409 we start in the year of 2388, the year after Romulus' destruction.

This is the earliest era I could set the story within the framework of Star Trek Online and still call it TNG era.

The mission: The all around political chaos, economical collaps and rising criminality is threatening to destroy the remnants of the Romulan Star Empire and a cause civil war that could very likely involve pretty much every galactic power in the quadrant.

Resources are scarce, refugees are flooding Federation, Klingon, Cardassian, Ferengi, and more colonies and other worlds within reachable distance of the Empire.

As a daring diplomatic intervention the Phoenix Alliance was founded as a Joint Forces Operation with the goal to pool galactic resources to return the economy to stability, find suitable new colonial worlds for the endless stream of refugees and ensure save passage for the transports from pirates and raiders.

As a central hub Phoenix Station was constructed on the edge of the Romulan Neutral Zone, administrated by Starfleet as the main driving force.

But every power in the quadrant has been invited to take part in the endevour, so not only Starfleet ships and races are part of the adventure.

There are Klingon mercenaries, Ferengi entrepeneurs, 23rd century time orphans, Betazoid and Andorian Diplomats, a Romulan Envoy...

Who will you be? Cardassian? Dominion? Civilian?

The choice is yours.

Our general RP policy is pretty casual, but we are not fans of tea sipping and padd reading in some backwater bar doing nothing.

Currently we try to have at least one major adventure event every weekend.

So far, we utilize Cryptic made missions and give them our own story spin by largly ingnoring the game provided dialog and just use the environment for the action elements.

Eventually (if we can get some dedicated foundry authors into the fleet) we can craft entirely new stories together.

Rule Number One: Just have fun.

    Are you guys exclusively RP?

I'd like to join an RP fleet but I'm also interested in a fleet who has members who are knowledgeable and skilled enough to farm for money or items efficiently.

I only say this because I'm pretty poor ingame and I'd like to stop relying on cryptic points if you catch my drift.

So would you guys also do STFs or help grind/farm?

We are not exclusively RPing, but personally I won't go out of my way to farm if it stops being fun.

I and some core members are knowledgable enough to help run/lead through STFs and help with other PvE stuff.

Anyone curious about our way of RP can join us on sunday for an RP run of Saturday's Child at 8pm (UK time).

And if anyone is interested in Starbase Stats, we are currently on our way to Tier 2, with all major Tier 1 projects complete.

Just missing the Engineering Doff contact and the Transwarp Gate which is queued for next...
