Last night I thought lets get a fleet Sabre as I'm bored of the Jem'Hader Attack Ship and thought layouts the same as I currently use. Now yes I know the stats are a tad weaker and that the turn rate is considerably lower at 16.

All I can say when I fitted the ship and started using it is on god its f'ing awesome.

I been doing fleet missions and STFs all last night and I absolutely love the ship.

Then again I fly for fun not stats so if you got money for FSM's it's well worth a shot.

I intend to fly one as soon as possible and just hope they eventually get around to fixing its hull and shield modifiers.

I don't think this gets said enough, but it's the captain not the ship.

A Good Captain finds out how to make their ship shine, despite it's limitations.

A Bad Captain starts threads asking for more power.

The Sabre may not have the best stats in the game, but I kept mine from T2 and the idea of making it T5 is appealing. I may just get the Non-Fleet version but.

If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why.
When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

    So true.

Infact, would you mind if I added that on my sig?
    (giving proper credit, ofc)

I picked up the non fleet retrofit and I have to say I'm having a lot of fun. Mind you, it's fun that I could also be having with my Fleet Patrol Escort or my old Patrol Escort (both of which with less dying) but yah as you guys said how much you get out is equivalent to how good you are putting in.

Me, 2 dual heavy cannons, dual beam array, and a torp up front (all plasma, 4x energy wep consoles) with the usual turrets in back. Between the high-yield and spread on plasma torp and overloading the beam bank you have a lot of control over damage and targets which really helps in fleet PVE's (when you might want to hit that one neg'var hard but then switch up to cleaning out BOP's.)

By all means, but be careful if you add the Bad captains line it won't go down well when you try to tell somebody what they are asking for is insanely overpowered.
