All c-store skins were removed and if you check out a ship vendor you will see fleet ships now have those skins and to unlock them you need to buy the fleet ship that has it.
I've seen that, but does this TRIBBLE over players who already purchased the skin. Also, doesn't it kind of TRIBBLE over those that didn't purchase the skin by not informing the community that all skins were going to be pulled?
You know Cryptic has Jumped the Proverbial Shark when they introduced Tractor Pulling to Star Trek Online!

Players who already owned the c-store skins got to keep them, I still have the Tor'Kaht available to use myself.
It was kind of sad to see them get pulled down as I wanted to the fleet escort skin for my caitian, if Cryptic informed players that they were being pulled down it could have generated some money for them as players may have rushed to get them before they were pulled.

I agree, I don't see the sense in removing them, other to force players to buy the Fleet Ships. Rather lazy if you ask me and I will not buy a fleet ship so I will just make do without the skins. I have the skin in question in this thread and that was the main one for me. I think they need to release some new skins to replace the ones they removed.

But if you previously bought those skins ... you still have them.
But yeah ... You're right about that.
Edit ... Excuse the ring ... You already said as much.
Well i bought the skin for an old charachter that I deleted and ive been training up a new KDF and the skin has gone. Not happy about that at all. I paid zen for that.

From what I've been reading the ship editing is currently bugged for several people on boht factions so it's not actually gone it's just a bug that's currently preventing its proper use.
