Plasmonic Leech: Please Lay Out Changes in Clear Terms

Dear Devs (or any knowledgeable players)

I am relatively new to the Klingon faction, but I absolutely love playing on this side of the divide. I have recently been saving up points to buy the Plasmonic Leech console, and now I am reconsidering given the changes to the console made on the 26.20.2012. I play pvp only on an occasional basis and prefer stf. In any case, I would really appreciate some kind of graphical/numerical representation of what has changed in the leech. To be honest, it is very difficult right now in the forums to sift rage from fact. The dev notes read as follows:

"The energy drain debuff applied by Nausicaan Energy Leech no longer stacks between multiple entities."

As I read it, this would seem to indicate that the leech stacks on a single target but that nothing else has changed. Is that the case? And yet, many of the players posting comments are also complaining that the leech now only provides only a +1 power bonus, down from a higher number. Is this fact or distortion? Many other such complaints are floating around, and I would really appreciate some clarification.

Thank you so much. Again, comments from either devs or more knowledge about players are welcome.

The origional idea was to limit the number of time it can be stacked on your oponent.
As it was if 5 people had the console and shot at one target it could stack something like 32times.

However when that changed it they broke it and it now only stacks once. this is a known issue and will be fixed eventualy.

In the mean time save your money as in its current state its not worth the cost..unless you also want the ship.

your welcome. Might i suggest the isometric charge console. If you remember the chain reaction pulsar from armada you'll like it.

Interesting suggestion. I will certainly take it under consideration. I fly a Bortasqu' and could afford to lose one of my 3 neutronium armors. =) Do you find that this is a viable tool in pvp and pve scenarios?

Plasmonic Leech may not be stacking up on your target to reduce the power levels, but I can tell you the other side of that console is working fine, which is where it stacks up on your power levels, so, still worth getting. as in, right gear, right class, right power settings, 100's across the boards with this console is possible.

Isometric is a good console if your faced with 2 to 4 (or more) targets close together, so pve events it's good, pve solo content not so good, and can't speak for pvp settings, something I don't do, hopefully a pvp player can add some insight on that side.

yes it can chain up to 4 times so if there are 3 enemys one will get hit twice. only own side it the trgering arc i think its 90 degrees. ive seeb mine hit for over100k before since particle generators buff it.

The Isometric has 120 degrees last time I checked it.
I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001.
If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why.
When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

It doesnt stack up and boost the users power levels anymore. Thats kind of the point. You get one activation now, and thats it.

When they changed it to not stack leeches from multiple users on a single target, they completely broke ALL stacking.

I am sorry, but on the receiving end, Plasmonic Leech has pretty much became dead console space late last week.

My weapons power now drops out in a fight, my aux and engines don't budge, but it does seem to help my shields somewhat. I have mostly been working with my carrier and cruiser captains this weekend, but will soo how it works... or fails to work with my tacs after I get off work this morning.
