Is it just me or is Cryptic streamlining the character tailor into uselessness

It seems that after some updates using the tailor has gotten harder and harder.

First they changed the preset face options to always be the same thing with only a few minor changes to skin tone and completion.

Now I can't even pick combadges or rank badges at all.

What the heck is going on here?

    In software terms, it's known as a bug.

    its incredibly TRIBBLE how I cant default horrible body types to something average. please fix this.
