    Nice...very nice. Pretty un-expected aswell.

    And it's free.

    One thing though...how did you get the likeness rights (or other legal talk) for season 1 Worf? :confused:

    They have rights for Dorn since launch I think (Worf is on Qu'nos even though it looks almost nothing like him). I don't think it matter how he looks.

    Thats kinda what i'm getting at. I think they can do it if it looks nothing like the Worf we know, but this new guy is the spitting image of Season 1 Worf.

    (Great job though Cryptic, his face is very accurate)

    Thank you very much for this. TNG is what made me fall in love with Star Trek when I was barely out of diapers.

    I only wish the costume unlock was account-wide and included a skant.

    they can do it for an image, as it is a homage or fan art. They are not using the image for commercial gain, so Dorn does not lose out by it's use. Also it is not ingame per-se. ;)

    splitting hairs but I am sure they dotted the i's and crossed the t's before going ahead with this.

    Or it could be that since the distinctive look of the character is achieved not by Dorn, but by all the plastic TRIBBLE, fake teeth, hair, etc etc glued on to Dorns head, that likeness rights don't apply. Don't think the plastic parts are entitled to residuals or image usage fees. :D

    If STO's 25-TNG Worf spoke using Dorn's voice, obviously, my argument dies.

    Probably also why Morn is now in game and looks so much like screen-morn. It was an inflatible suit and a rubber head.

    But who knows?

    Or could it maybe be in a req pack. so i could save for later?

    A nicely written Blog. TNG made me a fan too. Thank you for this. I am much much more excited about this little Trek canon gift, then i am over the new Lock Box. And: This IS a recognizable Worf! :) Good job.

    Now go and start working on a TNG bundle. :)

    Pity they didnt unlock the series TNG combadge to go with it. ah well will have to maybe go badgless till i can unlock it..

    Five days bro... you telling me you can't unlock it for all your characters in 5 days? It's supposed to be a short mission.

    who cares how...they did it...btw they have the rights to do all the shows and movies, except the animated series, JJ star trek, and the books. everything else they have rights too. that's why its a pain to get the Vesta in game, and they had problems with the Kzinti , and had to make up their own name.

    It takes all of 10 seconds, but if I make a new character say next Wednesday, its impossible for them to get it.

    They have all of that...except the rights to the physical likenesses of the actors who portrayed the characters. They could get those, but they'd have to make deals with each actor.

    Seriously guys, this is pretty sweet. We finally get sashes for Fed Kligons and they're free! And kudos to whomever did the season 1 Worf, he looks great.

    So when can we get Worf's DS9 hairstyle? :)

    I second this. If i decide to wait until season 7 or 8, and then want to roll up a new Klingon character, i'd love to be able to give them the sash, or even the goatee. Please reconsider making these items account unlocks, even if it requires running the mission several times with the same character.

    Great work on the costume and on Worf. Thanks for this.

    Are they still the old pants though? They feel a little 'dated' in texture/wrinkles.

    This is rare indeed....VERY rare.

    Didn't we already have these uniforms though? I have some sort of TNG uniforms from the CE or something haha.
