Basically TT is there to provide boost for CRF1 powers and of course to torpedos
Now if I am correct, tactical consoles don't stack which means that if I have 4 plasma consoles then the 3rd and 4th consoles are just the waste while getting less or next to nothing in return. So I have decided the following setup:
Tactical Consoles: 2x Plasma Consoles Mk XII (rare), 2xTetryon Consoles MK XII (rare)
Engineering Consoles: 3x Monotanium Alloy MK XII (rare), 1x EPS MK XII (rare)
Science Console: 1X Borg Universal Console
1x Borg deflector (to get +27 Structural integrity), 1x KHG Shield, 1xKHG Engine
what are you going to use to bring the ship back around to the target after you fire that single torp? why aft?
bortas turns incredibly slowly, that aft torp when your main firepower is a 45 deg arc forward seems a waste when attempting to use it to augment the forward dps. as soon as you turn out of that cannon arc dps will drop to pretty much nil. one plasma HY isn't going to boost it enough to matter since you'll still have to turn back.
turrets alone aren't likely to to be ale to keep the shields down, so the HY will likely impact on a partially regenerated facing. crf increases tht chance...if the target stays stationary and doesn't manuever.
4 turrets aft and replace one cannon with the torp. never have to turn that way. and your torp will be much more likely to hit hull CRF~>HY. that also saves your rapid manuevering skills for times when you actually need them. such as enemies using evasives of their own or speed boosts that take them out of your arc.
running 3 capts in bortesques myself, tac, sci, and eng. having a borg suddenly do it's little zoom trick so that it's out of forward weapons arc, behind or above you is a PIB. consider tractor beam as well, nice for holding enemies in your forward arc to chew on.
while not a bad build, your intent to to turn 180 just seems unnecessary.
