This simply has to happen. Such an elementary link between pvp and teamwork/cooperation etc... ie: fleets.
Should be a base value for a match say, 10-20 fleet marks each (seems inline with other methods of getting the marks)
Then the winning team gets double that.
The reason this needs to be implemented in such a way (winning gets more reward than losing) is becuase: If you think afk'ing is bad now, imagine what it would be like after, if there was no incentive to win...

Makes sense, i dont seem to get many AFKers in the queues, but some seem to get them all the time. doubling the rewards might give incentive to play and improve.

Such a simple request that makes too much sense to be added. Why add a reward that benefits a fleet, then double the reward for the winning team. That's outrageous. Why give the pvpers a way to get items doing a mission they enjoy when there is all these new cool awesome fleet PVE missions. That doesn't make sense.
To end, why add anything for PVP when they simply want to remove it completely from the game.
The only issue I see is such a mechanic could be highly exploitable by enterprising PvPers.

NO Win Scenerios and other PVE missions with fleet mates fighting NPCs awards fleet marks for the players to donate to their respective fleet/s.
Yet fleet mates and friends who PVP get EC and dil? Is our teamwork and pew not more challenging that 45 minutes of blowing up helpless NPCs that couldn't kill my six year old cat sleeping on my keyboard?
There is a reward if you do a certain amount and report to Deep space K7 as Calhoun and a few others give Dilitithium for certain PVPS completed but I agree there should be more incentive

I'm with you gents, but remember this IS "The Cryptic." We know their track record at PvP
While I sign this, I'm not holding my breath.

"No, there is no real problem with P2W in STO. Obviously, if you fight against someone with an equal level of skill in the game, better equipment will give you an edge. But usually, it is the skill level that determines the outcome, not the P2W." -Logimo
You should not be arguing against this if you call yourself a pvper.
Our effort and love for the game deserves to be rewarded just like the lil facerollers continually get.
What I was afraid of, overly simplified, was that if 3 people each contributed 33.3% to making a new ship, and they got one mark each, and buying said ship when completed would cost one mark. They all donated a helluva lot of resources to the build, but if someone with marks from pvp comes along, he could leave one guy with no payoff.

Aren't fleet marks supposed to reflect time and effort put into base projects, and be the currency used to withdraw fleet resources. (ships)
If you could just play pvp and go pick up a ship that someone else had been grinding for weeks to craft... well...

they could just add it to the missions that give you dilithium for it.
