After trying several times to get the problem with my account sorted I have finally given up and simply closed the subscription I had. As I have previously stated, to no avail, problems with gameplay I can bear but when it comes to my subscription and the fact it was being paid for I have little sympathy. Effectively I have paid and gained nothing for the last 100 days, none of which has been taken seriously, my words fell on deaf ears. Which is ashame I think, I have played and fairly enjoyed it for the last few years, sadly its recent state is not something to be proud of and has become far from fun. Too much emphasis on money and what you can buy, even to craft you have to grind endlessly or otherwise buy dilithium with real money.
Yet I will not get rid of the game yet, I will use it alittle in its free capacity as mindless nonsense between other things during the day, but I will not spend on the game at all and perhaps many more will decide on this course.
ummmm......yes? Is it wrong to voice legitimate problems, its not a rant but a critical look at a business, a business to which I have contributed money as a customer. I have no doubt people disagree, but other might agree or want a critical look at the business, its not like I do not give the company chance to prove themselves....years actually.
I think the concern is that we don't know what these "legitimate problems" are. The last time we had someone posted one of these, I know I went back through looking at the posters threads and many people had gone out of their way to help them with no response.
No offense but your post is rather lacking in details. If it's a critical look at a business' problems then it would be a critical look at such with included information, examples and specifics. Right now it is nothing but a rant.
From your post at the bottom of the second page, it looks like the issue was cleared up. You use the word "was" which to me shows that it was resolved. Although from the post on the third page, it;s not. A staff member stated on page two that you needed to contact CS via a support ticket and provide the requested information.
Did you do that? I ask because I don;t see a mention that you have done so.
And considering that this is a billing issue, I know of no support forum that will discuss such in a public support forum. That has to be done via a support ticket. I run a small webhostiong company and I know those are closed on sight with a link to the ticket system when they come up from time to time on our forums. (I also do go looking to see what's up and 9 times out of 10 I just go ahead and fix the issue if I see what's wrong but that;s just me. My attorney hates it when I do that.)
No offense but just trying to get some clarity here.
Obviously the problem was not cleared up, I use WAS because I have dealt with the issue myself by halting the subscription, it is that simple. The point, or so I thought, for forums such as this was to inform people of facts whether good or bad. I am not new to the game or the forums and have had many issues over the years and to their credit these have been sorted. However in this case, a most serious case too, it has not been sorted and I have received no communication. It is this latter point that concerns me and encourages me not to invest either money or too much time on this game.

There point was that if you aren't going to tell us what problems you were having then whats the point of posting here? This is a place to discuss things and help people resolve problems. You say you thought the forums was a place to inform people of facts, what facts have you provided? That you are ending your subscription? Whoopie for you, but how does that possibly help anyone in the future who might have whatever issue you are having? Next time you might want to try and provide some actual details of what your issue is instead of posting yet another manifesto that nobody is going to bother to read in detail because there have been hundreds, if not more, before you.
