Hello! I've recently come back to STO after a small hiatus and the fleet that I was originally part of has disbanded. I'm looking to make friends and feel like I'm not so alone in the universe. I have 3 Federation Captains that are looking to join a fun, social, active fleet with experienced, helpful players so that I can learn to better become an asset. If you're fleet might be the fleet for me, I would love the opportunity to join and contribute!
I invite you to check out the 44th. We are casual age 18+ fleet. We have a Teamspeak server available. The fleet has been around since beta. We have experienced players. Come see if we are a good fit.

Hi Warbound, The Wise Guys are a smaller but tight-knit and long-standing fleet. We offer a lot of different services and you don't need to worry about getting lost in the crowd. Come check us out. I represent the Starfleet Temporal Investigation Agency. We are a small but active and growing fleet with some really experienced people who love to help. We are involved with all aspects of STO, from STFs to the Foundry. Because we are growing, we also have positions of leadership open. It is a great chance to help create a fleet that you can truly feel a part of.
Please feel free to click on the link below and check us out. I wish you the best in your search! There are a lot of great fleets here in STO.

If focus on the 'helpful, social, fun' part is what you need, then Redneck Academy is a no nonsense Top Gun style organization with a strong doctrine of mutual support and knowledge sharing. The name Redneck Academy is just a parody - there are, IMO, far too many "military named" units around but with no actual (para)military experience.
As the name implies some of us enjoy tinkering with 'innovative bits of machinery' during our spare time and there is a pretty strong interest in historical military or wargaming discussions as well.
Infact, many of our STF tactics resemble more of air combat maneuvering than the typical techniques practised by gamers. Much more intuitive and participative - since it's the newbies, not the veterans, who lead the teams to victory. Our job as Starfleet Captains, after all, is to protect one's wingmen and develop future leaders.
If you want a completely different Fleet experience with authentic TNG-style task force operations and storytelling, you know where to look
In here, open collaboration and 'pilot's discretion' is the order of the day. There are no rules, no ranks, but when it comes to combat wing operations, personal initiative and innovative tactics employed are like no other - we don't even need voice comms to achieve team synergy.
STF Flight Instructor since Early 2012. Newbies are the reason why STO lives and breathes today. Do not discriminate.
i recently joined the 44th Fleet. i had talked about struggling in IGE and these guys went on an IGE with me right after i joined and we won. did not get the shields i needed , but showed me that these guys took interest.
Check out the 106th, http://www.106thfleet.com , you'll be welcomed aboard. To find a recruiter in game, use the fleet button and search for 106, then choose one of the officers with recruit permissions and send them a PM, and let them know Abanax sent ya. You can also check out our Foundry Mission by searching for 106 in the foundry missions section. We are also very active in team speak and we are constantly running STF's. Fair winds and following seas, hope to see you there. - Abanaxael@xianfa
