Release notes "Increased damage for Quad Phaser and Disruptor Cannons"

It was in the 03rd of July release notes that the devs have

"Increased damage for Quad Phaser and Disruptor Cannons."

I love the aesthetic look of these but damage wise they have been found wanting compared to a DHC so my question is just how increased is increased.

Are they going to be the highest damage cannons as they were originally meant to be or have they just been put on par with a DHC??

One of the devs tweeted that they'd be stronger than Mk XII purples. So I'd assume that means they'll be the strongest. I doubt it's by much though.

before: 708 dmg (944 dps)

after: 757 dmg (1009.3 dps)
