KDF from a rookies point of view

I like it. I like the fact that after maxing out a toon I can skip to level 20 starting my 2nd guy. I like that between mirrior events and fleet actions I can fast forward past all the annoying time consuming missions and go right to 50. I like that with the dil story and 10 bucks I can outfit a ship and jump right into the STF scene. I like the ability to spec my captain. Boffs, Doffs, and ship into a truely unqiue vessel to fit my style. I like that KDF ships are set up to support more tac consoles and are purpose built warships. I like that I can make a KDF that looks human and get the ships I want without having to even pretend to be a star trek klink fan. To be honest I am not even a trekki I am a random gammer who pays for gold status just to enjoy your ship combat system.

    last I checked it is all about fun. Hubby is the tech geek here, me I play for fun, if I am not having fun, I move on. Sorry dears I have a job, my gaming life does not need to be my 2nd job.

    The ship combat system is one of the better out there. I sometimes wish they could take some pointers from BSGO, and a dash of POTBS, to make this stick out a bit more.

    Have fun playing around. KDF have less content, but you have fun playing. Take a Carrier and have a good time in any mirror, STF or other space combat handling with your own squad.

    I play my KDF almost all the time now,the Federation seem so bland after my searing red UI.

    Please dont start anymore threads about how RED the UI is :P

    Hey - I like the red Klingon UI. Red is a really warm colour in contrast to the fed cold blue. And I must admit I play more and more on the Klingon side. STFs for now but my B'rel retro is waiting to go into PvP combat :)

    I had the itch yesterday to give my poor negh'var a break from stf's yesterday and fly an escort on my fed toon. After the last several weeks of exclusive KDF gameplay I actually found the blue interface to be quite bright and hard on the eyes lol.

    I too prefer my KDF chars. Time and time again I've tried going back to my Fed chars but they just seem, well I don't know, boring I guess. I love the KDF and am not planning on ever going back to my Fed chars. Romulans and Cardassians? now that's another story. I definitely will have a Romulan character once the faction is released. And I already have a KDF Cardassian.

    I too find the Feddies boring, they may have content but they are just mind numbing boring, I am thinking of deleting most of my Federation characters and be done with it.

    I too have a KDF Cardassian, in a Galor of all things. We should meet up in game and bring some Cardassian might to the KDF. :D
