Since Aux2Batteries so popular with some people now thanks to the new "Make a useless power into something good without fixing the underlying problem" DOFFs, I wonder if PO also ipmroved.
*) Actually, it's the Photonic Studies Science Officer and it specifically helps Photonic abilities. See also post 3. Nothing to do with Deflector abilities.

My understanding is that Photonic officer is a photonic ability and has it own doffs that covers it.
Recharge time reduction varies between 5 %(White) to 20 % (Purple).
I don't know if they stack, but it seems unlikely. THis would reduce the PO cooldown from 5 to 4 minutes.... If the Photonic Officer Wiki entry is still up to date. It is missing information on the GDC. And I believe PO also helps itself (another 25 % on PO2 for 60 seconds...)

So I need to get a stopwatch because it's hard to tell what's actually going on from just the UI. But, my impression is that the Photonic Studies doff and Aux2Batt affect PO for the first of the three minutes, plus it affects itself. So that first minute can be cut down considerably. After that I haven't been able to get those last two minutes to budge.

IE. PO1 reduces cooldowns by 24%. So say at the end of PO you have 6 secs left on say BO1. after PO expires it does back to 8 secs.
