One of the issues of going perhaps months without addressing not only balance issues, but mechanics not working as intended is the expectation of the players grows to not only rely on, but expect the broken mechanics to continue.

In the past this happened with BFAW 100% accuracy. More recently ship defense when not moving. This comes up with doff powers as well. Instead of needed 3 purples for max effect often you need less then that b/c of the broken mechanic where 1 Boff triggers 2 tics.

So, even if you're not going to fix broken mechanics please make an effort to have a stickied thread to keep track of them as a resource for players who otherwise wouldn't know they're taking advantage of broken mechanics.

Also, you should bring back the is it working as intended thread. There are still issues where there things aren't working as intended, but we're not sure. For example, using tech doffs w/photonic doffs can reduce PSW below its Global cooldown. With flight deck doffs when using 2 hangar with different squads the squad who's got the higher cooldown is used for both. Is this working as intended or the reduction be based on the base cooldown of which ever squad is being launched?

If you don't try to manage the expectations, you'll just have more strife down the road if/when these things get addressed. People will cry nerf when all you're doing is an overdue fix. PvPers will get blamed for ruining others fun as has happened before w/even the most obvious broken mechanics of Jem shields.

    Excellent point and a reasonable request. I really wish we had something like this.

    An official thread with things that are suspected of being broken, and confirmed broken, would be good both for the players and the devs. It would help those who want "fair play" to avoid broken stuff... (but also help those who want to sploit it... :p )

    Well, if this is a Not Working As Intended thread, I humbly submit the following, as clearly not working as intended.

    Attack pattern Omega, this power promises movement debuff immunity so why then, does this not actually happen? Double Tractors will still slow you, 4 will still stop you. (Grav well also did this when GW still had a stronger pull than it does now) Chroniton procs? Still slow you, even one chrono proc. Graviton Console? Graviton beam? Slow you.

    The description for attack pattern omega is pretty clear, cut and dry. It's a Movement Debuff Immunity power, the tooltips, and power description both spell it out as this, in no uncertain terms, and yet it does not do this. This has also been broken for at least two years.

    Polarize Hull, also does not work vs multiple tractor beams.

    Which leads me to believe that the "immunity" is actually a resistance, who's value is set far far too low in the coding for it to work properly in a full on pvp environment. Actually even in a pve environment, just remember the breen frigates with their tractor beams.
