Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tonight at Midnight PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to only last for 2 hours.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

- The Star Trek Online Team

right so not only have we in the EU had to wait till the next day to use the ships we forked out 2000 c points for we have to wait an extra 2 hours for you guys to change one thing? smooooooth i would of thought it would be more efficient to bring the maintenance ahead 2 hours so that people didn't have to wait even longer to use a ship that cost so much,

There's no mention of fixing the issue of stalker and scorpion fighters or phased polaron cannons. Will the fix allow us to equip these items as well?

See? Maybe you should listen when I make a suggestion. :)

Please excuse my ego. For some of us, this is what we do for a living. (ie consulting and feedback) Or at least part of one.

Now if we could just get rid of the dark color fonts here in the forums or at least give us an option to strip colors....

if by stalker fighters you mean putting them on the Armitage the Armitage is a Heavy Escort Carrier, not a Carrier it's a whole new type of ship and the stalker fighters are ment only for Carriers

How many times people asked "why is this ship not on tribble available for testing? "

wait... are you telling me I can't use my Phased Polaron Dual Cannons, that I worked my *** off to acquire, on the Armitage? Because if thats the case that puts a huge damper on my wanting to get this ship due to the fact that those Cannons were essentially free and are effectively as good as Antiproton Cannons. Not to mention the fact that if I can't use them that means I have to go out and purchase an entirely different set of cannons until such a time as these cannons become available on the Armitage.

    Good news!
    You have the power.

Sooo... This would be the THIRD maintenance downtime this week, as opposed to the usual once.

I say, this is all very inconvenient.

I'm not a programmer, but I would imagine that tons of code needs to be rewritten, even to fix one thing. If I'm wrong, please, someone who knows, please correct me.

Read the Patch Notes, linked in the original Post.

    Always fun to do. :D

    Okay. Choice:

    1) Have a third downtime, which is a small section of one day,

    OR

    2) Not be able to use a ship that you paid (literally) $25 USD for, in an STF?
