The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been Star Trek. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But Star Trek has marked the time. This Show, this game, is part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.

........................................................

So why wont they build it?

have fun, kill bad guys

    you got it shelev.

make a better game, and they will come. people will actually willingly pay.

its star trek, its video games.

it still has a chance to be great, they just have to want it to be.

and kevin costner couldnt hurt. except he is the same dude in every move. seriously, he can't act.

Ray. People will come Ray. They'll come to Earth Spacedock, for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll materialize on the transporter pad, not even sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at Admiral Quinn's office, innocent as children, longing for the future. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, we'll say, it's only $14.99 a month. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it, for it is money they have, and pew they like.

    ---

"Hey Dad? You wanna have some pew pew?"

    "I'd like that."

    *cries*

The great constant is NOT star trek, it's money.

That's the truth behind all truths. People will lie, cheat, kill, steal, and commit mass destruction for it.

This is the truth of humanity. Why are there tons of C-store costumes? It's the money.

Now it's off to buy the escort carrier, because I'm a sad panda.

Finding someone you think would be fun to kill is a bit like, well it's a bit like falling in love. You meet a lot of candidates, and you like some of them, and they're nice. But they're not right. And that special one comes along, and your heart beats faster, and you know that's the one.
