Yeah but after a night at the buffet and a 45 minute power dump you need something good to read

it's NOT sitting on my bookshelf right now, and is NOT accompanied by

    Star Trek Encyclopedia ('94)
    Star Trek Chronology ('93)
    Star Trek Universal Index ('94)
    The Making of DS9 ('94)
Lost Voyages of Trek and TNG ('95)
Captains Logs ('93), Supplemental ('94), Supplemental II ('95)
    Deep Space Log Book ('93)
Great Birds of the Galaxy ('94)
Radio Times: Star Trek 30 Years ('96)
    etc etc

I do NOT periodically read selections from said tomes for fun. No Sir!

I am afraid I can't do that, since I obviously don't have it and never waited weeks in anticipation of it finally arriving at my book store.

Not sure if the Kindle can read it but there are pdf versions out there.

Um, I'm not going to link to it though. I seriously doubt that the powers the be would take lightly to downloadable free versions and *cough* I hope that if someone were to *cough* provide such a link *cough* *cough* that they would quickly remove it before it gets noticed *cough* and gets them in trouble.

that version is only available online. to download it you still have to be a site member or pay. i am presuming that some portion of that will go to the copyright holders.

if mods want to remove the link so be it. ;)

(geez i am such a rebel when i have a drink in me lol)

I still have, in well taken care of condition, the original Star Trek TOS technical manuel by Franz Joeseph designs as well as the TOS Enterprise fold out deck plans that I got at a ST convention in the late 70s.
Lot's of books...the entire original series, the entire Captain's log series (the animated series) and a couple dozen other novels based on the Trek series, all collected by the time I got out of high school.
I kinda fell out of the book collecting after I stared having kids of my own, before TNG was even dreamed of.

You silly kids and your fancy gadgets....:p

I remember a high school classmate of mine had one, it was a fun read. I don't have it, but I do have a PC version titled "Star Trek: The Next Generation Interactive Technical Manual".
