I think he is trying to comically insult STO without just coming out and saying it! I was not really amused! It's okay to express your dislikes or likes for STO but let's try to make it, make sense!
Wow shows how many Star Trek fans actually play this game, half the people that replied didn't get it and probably wouldn't know the episode name and which series it was from, but wait! Maybe it was one of the movies and NOT the series!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I think we all got it, we just thought it was a bit melodramatic.

I forgot half of the episode names, but I do remember that it was in one of the earlier seasons of TNG :P
And to be honest, I didn't quite make any sense of it... Shaka, when the walls fell

Well it amused me.
At least it was different way to insult and come on, you must be tired of old windbags like me, coming right out and insulting STO .
Now how does it go, "Shaka Zulu fell down" or something like this.
There is a badge in game related to this episode. Both factions can use it.
I am not in game so can't get the name of it but it is in the communicator slot. I am not sure if everyone can receive it or if it was from a play test weekend they had.

Oh I remember "Darmok" well but I fail to see why you would use phrases from it in a forum post.

From what i can gather the statment is in the Tamarian Language.
Mirab, with sails unfurled" - signifying departure/engines to full/fleeing
Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra" -cooperation
Sokath, his eyes uncovered/opened" - understanding/realization
"Shaka, when the walls fell" - failure
I would say that this person has been on a mission / PvP or STF and it didn't go acording to plan . . Or it could simply be for a bit of fun . . lol
Turns out, doesn't work so well on the web

Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war
Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war
Demons run, but count the cost
The battle's won, but the child is lost
Unicorn, his keyboard sticky.
