Here is a larger preview of my signature patch. All you have to do is replace the name of
your ship and it's command association.

I wouldn't mind having an email copy of your working file. I was wondering how to do these patches for some time.
PM sent with address.
Whoa that's wierd I actuall just got it? LOL you may get mine in about 30 minutes, LOL.
Also e-mail is sent. You should have the file now.
Nice! It looks like a real fabric patch. How did you get the embossed ship outline? Cutout tool or similar?
I'll have to look up how to create the borders of the emblem. I'm about to try and hack out something similar to the "Odyssey Class Development Project" round patch that's on the shipyard banners.
I wish I still had my embroidery plug-in. I used to be free, now it's $100.
No need for an embroidery plug in btw. I digitize embroidery designs professionally. I send proofs to customers from the vectors rather than the digitized emroidery files so I can get approval before I actually digitize the work. To make the proofs look like embroidery, I use a textured overlay with a greyscale emb pattern to make it look like stitches.
Something like that could really make this look authentic.
Is this a hobby or do you work with graphics professionally? it's always cool to meet another artist!
Love your avatar btw.
