I thought I'd share this story because my friends really got a kick out of it.
The other night I decided to take one of my wife's Ambien so that I'd sleep soundly. I then proceeded to browse the Web on my Amazon Kindle until I fell asleep.
In the morning I had a vague recollection of dreaming that I ordered a $300 assault phaser from Amazon. Thinking nothing of it, I went about my morning routine and checked my email prior to going into work. In my inbox I discovered an email from Amazon.com confirming my order! In an Ambien-based stupor I went online and bought a $300 prop-replica assault phaser. So, I immediately sent a cancellation request. Later that day I received an email that my order had shipped. I guess I'll be the owner of
THIS.

Gratz! And I'm jealous.
But not as bad as the PC I ordered two weeks ago because it was 30% off. And then added about fifty percent more to its price in additional goodies. It's a thousand dollars and I can't even vaporize anyone with it.
...Unless I install Star Trek Online... Hmm.
^ Tell your wife this OP.
Hahaha. Yeah. That's an excuse that'll only work once though. I should have saved it to buy a new computer!
I received the phaser a couple of days ago. It's really neat. The magazine in the handle is the battery pack, and like a real semi-auto handgun, the phaser has a magazine release and slide release switch on it. Very detailed. If you have some ambien handy, and Amazon up your your computer, I recommend it!
