THE ALLIED RECONSTRUCTION FORCES ROLE PLAYING FLEET IS NOW OPEN.

THIS FLEET IS COMPRISED OF MEMBERS OF THE FEDERATION, KLINGON, AND ROMULAN EMPIRES SEEKING THE REBUILDING OPERATIONS OF CARDASSIA.

The Fleet's main purpose is as a PURE Role Playing Fleet.
Does this mean sitting at Quark's and chatting? NO. There are IN GAME PvPs, PvE;s, and STFs involved.

We seek qualified Tactical Commanders to Defend the Cardassian Borders

We seek qualified Engineer Captains for city building, resource building, and combat support

We seek Scientists which specialize in Botany, Anatomy, and many other fields.

We seek Diplomats, Merchants, and Humanitarian Groups to help in numerous projects.

IF YOU WANT TO ROLE PLAY IN THE TRUE SENSE; WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS OR BIAS, AND SEEK TO LEARN OR PARTICIPATE IN A CARDASSIAN REBUILDING CAREER.

This is a sister Group of the Cardassian Jevonite Order

Join the Allied Reconstruction Force

The Allied Reconstruction Forces seek to unite true Role players

We are here to tell the other fleets that we are a force within this game and deserve the same respect given to the more combat focused members.

We are here to tell players that an RP SHOULD NOT BE a place to pick up dates or build intimate relationships without the express consent of both parties BEFORE such discussions begin.

We are here to say that it is alright for female players to have male characters AND male players to have female characters. ROLE PLAYING IS THE BUILDING OF IMAGINATION AND AN ATTEMPT TO UNDERSTAND ASPECTS WE ARE NOT.

We are here standing tall in force Cardassian, Federation, Klingon, and Romulan to say we can no longer be ignored or viewed as unimportant.

We are Role Players that PvE, PvP, and STF.

I'm probably going to have to spam this thread with my writeups on this topic, since it was relevant to a story jointly developed with Ms. Nador 2 months ago.

Hmmm but I have difficulty remembering what to write...

I need some healthy in-character activity dosage, you know, to help restore my memory :)

Not today. I am hard at work assisting Marritza with his... filing clerk duties. Yes, filing clerk, at the Cardassian Military Academy. You know, to make sure those Bajoran scum don't try to use legal loopholes in certain 'undocumented' issues again.

Weekends are the only time you can seek me. Friday and Caturday evenings Federation time, to be precise.

Well, I'll be certain to be there. The gauntlet of bringing back all of those Soldiers is over (as of today, I'm done yeah yeah).

I'll get the Reconstruction AND the Jevonites together the best I can and we'll be waiting for the head mistress to deal her dose of weekly pain upon us. Cardassians love that stuff (pain, suffering) why do you think we flew around in 23rd Century technology during the Dominion War?? We wanted to see how long Duct Tape would last of course.

Are you serious those Galor destroyers are using 22XX Century tech?

Even today they are very capable vessels. Those used by the True Way give a lot of Tier II and III Federation forces headaches especially in that infamous 'satellite repair ambush' scenario.

Well, we do have superior Engineers. Just think what we could do with Federation resources (without the Federation morals).

The last exercise involving Federation Dreadnaughts and the experimental destroyer tender yielded great results.

We just need some kind of strike fighter to take out those Dominion Wars era orbital weapon platforms. Engaging them directly with single capital ships is not advisable expecially where the Galaxy class typically carries a large non-combatant population.

(Who said there is no room for Federation fighter concepts? Risking capital vessels on frontal assaults is silly!)

Until we have a functional fleet carrier (in June 2409 - Caitian Carrier Prototype) we will have to continue to develop the capital ship phalanx formation. Underway shield augmentation level III was proven to be effective in Omega Force - we use ES3 to allow destroyers to shrug off weapons fire from even Borg Cubes.

I'm a Cardassian, what do I care if my FEDERATION civilians die in battle? The Klingons would celebrate their passage to Sto-Vo-Khor

You would care when your saucer separates from your stardrive and not because of Saucer Separation module activation :)

    Yes apparently they do.

I always ask if a Galaxy, Prometheus or Odyssey were going to demonstrate their "Controlled Disintegration Protocol" in STFs.

They make nice fun sounds when they disintegrate.

If Old Clunker (with peanut-shell keyboard) is up for it we will hold the second Cardassian Freedom of Navigation Exercise.

Freedom of Navigation is defined by www.globalsecurity.com as:
    Freedom Of Navigation

The ability to move U.S. forces when and where they are needed depends upon unfettered access to the world's oceans and international airspace. To ensure access as a matter of legal right, U.S. naval forces in 1997 conducted more than 20 operations to protest excessive maritime claims, in support of the President's Freedom of Navigation Program. These assertions supported the U.S. foreign policy objective of adherence by all nations to the International Law of the Sea.

RL examples of FNEs have the effect on ensuring maritime security as well as detering aggressor states.

Quote from "Use of US Forces Abroad" - [Full Article]
1981 --Libya. On August 19, 1981, U.S. planes based on the carrier Nimitz shot down two Libyan jets over the Gulf of Sidra after one of the Libyan jets had fired a heat-seeking missile. The United States periodically held freedom of navigation exercises in the Gulf of Sidra, claimed by Libya as territorial waters but considered international waters by the United States.

Don't just roleplay. Use it as a stepping stone to become a military historian. To be victorious tomorrow, study the events of yesterday :)

Great minds think alike. I was just telling my step son about 1981 this morning and wondering if it would make a good RP.

Provide time and place; I'll try to gather the Cardassians.

I believe my "Saturday Morning" is your "Friday Evening" and that's a good time to hold CFNE No. 2.

If not, then gather your forces on Saturday Evening EST. You tell me the time and I'll be there. It would be logical that you, the local commandant, would have the correct timekeeping authority, not me somewhere in the Delta quadrant 70,000 LY away.

We'll see if we can't show the 'imperialist forces' a thing or two about Cardassian military effectiveness. None of that silly carebear and politeness stuff certain organizations seem to waste time on, pure 100% butt kicking on elite difficulty full time.

(lol! We seem to have more enthusiasm now. Good!)

Received distress call from Risa sector. SFC P1 message copied here:

Kindly advise if other elements of Task Force Cardassia may assist on Friday evening.

Once Cryptic takes off the training wheels and gives us Galors and Keldons; then you'll really see enthusiasm.

I'll get the time out; I think I'm the furthest west of anyone in the Order (technically your east of me although I see you west of me on a map. :)

Do you want to Role Play without restrictions or being looked down upon by others?

Do you enjoy the Cardassian based stories seen on the forums, but want to play a Federation character?

Then look into the Allied Reconstruction Forces and be a part of something special.

Help rebuild a devastated people and create a culture which has previously been left vague.

I'm quite interested in this. Could I have more information on how to join? I have a Federation character who I think would fit this fleet quite well.

We have RPs set up for Friday evenings (SAT morning for the story weaver (carmenara; like that title..I thunk it up all by myself)) and Saturdays. We will implement a story line on the fleet forums and introduce missions in game.

    How to Join???

    1. Tell me (either here or in PM) you want to join.

    2. Go to the fleet site (in my sig) and apply

    3. Keep breathing, relax, and enjoy. Participate when you can and what you enjoy doing.

    4. Remember if you are a Federation, KDF, Romulan, or civilian (diplomat, scientist, merchant, etc) you go to the Allied Reconstruction Forces site. Cardassians will go to the Jevonite Order site and apply.

    5. Remember number 3.

    6. Occasionally Post here to help me show an active fleet.

    TADA Your Done. :D

    Edit:
I applied under the alias of chainaise.
