Since Kirian took my "FIrst!", I'll do this.

In before rage over Field Generator Console mods can now be stacked.
As such their effectiveness has been reduced. :p

    Q is coming tomorrow?

And what about the saucer separation capability for the Dreadnought Galaxy-X? I thought that was supposed to be tomorrow but there is nothing in the release notes. However...could it be the "special promotion starting tomorrow that runs until the 2nd? God I hope so.

What is this about Gal-X saucer sep? I didn't know such a thing was ever planned. would be beast though. I've been gone too long (a month) and everything slipped by me.

Patch notes don't mention a fix for Hathon. Is it still inaccessible or has it been fixed?

    Edit: Guess it's back I suppose. :D

Well thats peachy! Another fancy thing for my Gal-X lol. The thing can cloak, Use a phaser lance, and soon separate saucers. I wonder if cloaking while separated will cloak only the module you control or both.

Thank you Cryptic for nerfing the Field Generator consoles despite all the negative feedback in the forums, you really care about your playerbase. I'd like to know the name of the developer who's responsible for this downright nonsense.

On the other hand, thanks for fixing fire at will.

I don't see any mention in the patch notes about the the Klingon shuttle being added back to the shipdealer, so yet another update goes by in which I can't do the EP "The Vault".

Yep, it sure looks like Cryptic don't care about the KDF:mad:

bought a subscription shortly after this went f2p...now i'm wondering why. devs don't listen, this is is becoming obvious...or at lest one person doesn't...he/she has a 'plan' knows what's good and proper for the player base no matter how much they object. no matter what alternatives they give.

yep, shield consoles...personally, didn't care much, out of 4 lvl 50 characters only one has 1 console slotted. but what is indicative is the how the thread was completely ignored, and the patch is going ahead anyway. whomever thought this was a good idea...do they even play? or play test? all classes/ships on both sides? no? didn't think so.

i've played hundreds of mmo's, the ones that do the worst in relation to player base and rapid turnovers in population are the ones where they don't freaking listen. if there's a significant number of players saying 'this is a bad idea' or 'how about do it this way' you should listen. instead what? all players are idiots? not worth the time to take seriously? making it a unique console...problem solved...but no, 'we at cryptic know what's best..' yeah...if that was truly the case....you never would have had to go f2p.

a mmo company that ignores it's players, thinks they're not worth listening to for other than game breaking bugs...treats them like idiots...that just breeds oodles of loyal players doesn't it?

Q is just the distraction for the nerfing of the Field Generator consoles. They'll will now stack but you they're basically useless in their incoming form. Nothing like a kick in the groin for Bortas Captain's mostly but this will impact everyone. I really wish Cryptic would stop messing with things that aren't broken!

That's a real kick especially considering how much people paid for the Bug, even more than the combo pack in some cases.

Why buy ships when they're going to be nerfed after purchase? What is the next nerf to come?

Tribble is not for feedback. It's to find out if their patch breaks the game. If the game doesn't break, all the feedback in the world will not change a design decision. I'm not happy with cryptic today.

I'd just be happy if Auto Destruct and the other similar things would actually activate @ - 50% HP instead of waiting until Im fixing to explode to activate. Kinda useless when it does that:rolleyes:

    C H A S E - C A M E R A - B U G S

These other changes are completely unimportant in comparison to such a major basic gameplay issue.

    That is all.

I love patch notes stating that something should work now.
If you're not sure the EVA are fixed, test before rolling the patch out. ;-)

Overall I like the set of changes.

I agree with the above, overall awesome patch. Shield Gen changes have me worried and interested to see the actual effects. If you had instead changed them back to non-stacking +35s, the patch wouldve been perfect.

Well at least Branflakes got the UTC offset right, although on the launcher it is not (as usual).

What nerf are you refering to that specifically targets these particular ships?

The naysayers all rag on the nerf to the shields, but ignore the changes that have been made that reduce the damage the shields will be taking as well as new ways to buff shields and hull.

I suspect most of the naysays are simply not up to speed and perhaps a bit brain lazy.

As well most naysays do not remember that several monsths ago the shields were meant to be changed to be more in line with the new changes, but the implimentation had to be put on hold due to unforseen issues.

One change in particular many should remember was when they wanted the shield generators to add their enhancement via a bonus to the skill rather than a direct percentage to the number of points which would make it fall in line with the new skill revamp we now have.

When they first tried to impliment the change the shields were really messed up and not providingh but a few hundred extra shield points. Everyone complained about that and it was put back the way it was (+35%) post haste.

What is being called a nerf is in reality a change that was intended, but delayed in implimentation for several months.
