We will be bringing down Start Trek Online on Friday, March 23, from 6:00AM to 9:00AM PDT (1300-1600 UTC) in order to perform maintenance and apply a new patch. Additionally, we will be performing maintenance on the Cryptic Accounts system. During this time, you will also not be able to manage Cryptic accounts. We will provide an update when the maintenance in complete.

Update: We have extended this maintenance to 10am

Yes 9-12 eastern. I'm excited though, I was wondering if they were going to do anything else with ship interiors.

Great new addition to the game, I hope we see more "mini-game" things to do. Keep adding new things like this Cryptic and you will ensure the longevity of this awesome game!

I was kind of hoping they would do the maintenance at an earlier time when a lot of people were asleep [so, this way, when they get up, they can patch it and play it], but, as long as it's actually happening, I can't really complain as to the block of time they choose. hehe :D

:) Very excited to see the new stuff from the patch!

I totally know how you feel. If I didn't have other plans, the wait would be insane. :D

They pick a universal time since there are people playing all over the world. Move to Hawaii and the update WILL take place while you're asleep.

Goodbye broken, cheesy officer exchanges, and thanks for all the purple doffs. :D

Looking forward to the new doff mission system... even if it's more tedious at least it's more immersive. Though I do hope it's merely the beginning of the road and not the final product.

Y'all are doing it wrong. You "say" you're going to take the servers offline for four hours when you only need to take them down for 20 minutes. Then, everyone thinks you're a "miracle worker". You don't actually keep the server offline for four hours, ever. :P

That's why God invented the Kimber Arms Tactical Ultra II.

Think of it as a GM you can carry in your waistband. :D

Yes, and he was shocked to find Geordie telling Picard the actual truth about how long some repairs would take.:D

the time slot picked for the patch seems to be when most of the US players are at work. Normally I would be and not worried about not being able to play but I took off so now I am jones to get in and try the new items:(

It's 11am Central. Did I do the math wrong, or should the server be up?

    It's been 3 hours, not 4.

Isn't this something that could've been taken care of over night, instead of in the middle of the day?
