    Gratulations to the release :)

But fear coming changes to them too much to buy now :( *sigh*

    -edit-
Also, is there a bridge finetuning planned? *refering to this http://forums.startrekonline.com/showpost.php?p=4094877&postcount=17 *

I won't be surprised if before the year ends if there is a c-store button that says chat with our reps for c-store financing with low apr!

Congratulations on releasing yet another 2 ships (or 6 if you prefer that), that all still have remaining issues which was reported on Tribble forums.

Sensor Analysis on Science version still, for example?

    (No purchase from me.)

I knew it was only a matter of time until they released them in C store if you weren't around to claim your free one when FTP arrived.

Awesome, but still gonna wait to see how badly they may be nerfed before spending the money.

I love them the way they are but do not look forward to the mental breakdown that would happen to me if I had spent $50-$100 and then they where changed due to misconceptions of OPness from the playerbase.

I'll take "how not to get my money" for 100 Alex.

I mean really not only are they over priced but you, again, don't allow for extensive testing on Tribble. And even if your QA team looked at them that's not enough, I mean your QA team let all the FE bugs get through.

I like these ships. The price doesn't bother me since they are meant to be the flagships of their respective factions. Like others, though, I'll wait for the bugs and/or nerfs---if there are any---to be worked out before I make any purchases. The only thing I'm sort of disappointed in is that there doesn't appear to be any cosmetic differences between each set of 3 ships. Why not? I'd like to be able to customize them besides color, etc.

I think it is time for a C-Store boycott. Maybe then they will have reasonable and competitive prices! I for one will not be heading to the C-Store any in the near future. A single ship should not go above $10 and should at least come with anew interior for $10.

Given that the game is free to play now, and despite how I used to rail against the C-Store, I have no problem with paying into the C-Store for the 3 pack of Odysseys. What a bargain. ;)

Although, I DO hope that Cryptic doesn't continue to toss new shinies at us and refuse to fix problems with them once they've got our money. Hopefully now that the C-Store is a larger percentage of Cryptic's income, they'll go back to service the products they've created as an act of good faith and to encourage others to purchase from the C-Store, secure in the feeling that Cryptic will address any issues with the products it sells.
If they do not, well... I'm sure that the lack of sales to people who hear about them selling broken products without refunds and with no promise of resolution will help them to do so.

The existing Turn Rates are real Deal Breakers for me. Not to brag, but I got the cash to easily spend $100 and get all six ships. But I hate flying slugs.

Considering the set bonus turn rate has already been nerfed, and there's still diddling to do, I have to agree with Roach.

If, and that's a big if, I decide to purchase one or more of these ships, it's not going to be until I feel confident all the nerf bats have finished swinging. Then I'll see what's left and decide from there.

    :(

    Oh... ew.

Maybe I'll wait for the turn rate bonus to be un-nerfed.

That and I'm reading that the zoom nerf-fix isn't as nice as promised, so perhaps I'll wait on that, too. Personally, I would love for the zoom to go back to post launch levels. Let us clip through the ships, what's the big deal? If people are getting sand in their shorts about it, they can simply not zoom in so far.

No money from me! No real testing, nerfed in a way no one wanted yet you let glaring bugs/ OPness carry on regardless. Need I go on?

Maybe if it were 4000cp for all the ships including kdf, I might be tempted, but I will not spend what you are asking especially since they will be nerfed after the purchase instead of testing properly and fixing them prior to live sale...

I struggle these days to find even an ounce of sense left at cryptic, I guess Atari took that with them....

As much as I hate using cruisers, I would be very interested in trying out the tactical version if the price was more reasonable, around 1000cp. As it is now, I can't justify spending that much on another ship purchase, and it would be 5 months before I could save enough monthly c-point stipends to get one, and by then it probably won't even be worth it anymore.

Oh, I agree, personally for me, that it is a bargain at this price.
As they are currently, unnerfed or altered.
Still going wait and see how the chips fall before spending the money.

Awesome prices. Half the cost of a full game for 1 single ship in a game. fantastic.

For all the dumb things ppl bash Cryptic over, we seem to be really bad at proving their prices are insane.

True, but I may wait after all. I've read about the turn rate buff on the set bonus being nerfed as well as the zoom fix only being a fix for the Odyssey, not for ships like the Exploration, Assault or Star Cruisers.

Seriously, give us a min/max zoom setting in options so those of us who don't mind clipping into our ships can still zoom in to see the prettiness and those who get cranky when they do can not have to panic and forget they can zoom back out again when they do.

it is not hard to prove that they are way over price. DC Universe Online new DLC is $9.99

i guess what I mean is that we suck at NOT BUYING the overpriced TRIBBLE enough for them to change their prices.

people: these prices are ridiculous. STOP BUYING THIS STUFF. Ships shouldn't cost more than $10. Act like it.

As i haven't played with the ops or tactical versions on the oddy yet, I really can't say anything about those. But the science version... i have some complaints about. As my toon is a science officer, i rely on the target sub-system options, but the science variant of the oddy doesn't have that. Also for the science variant, you can only have a LT commander science BOFF. not worth it since some of the bad *** science skills for the BOFFs are in the commander rank.

Meh... this is falling on deaf ears i bet. TRIBBLE it... i'm going back to my LRSVR till the oddys are fixed...

The Exchange is running wild atm, so ingame earning is beyond reason. The direct $ or € price is way overpriced.
If you think about it for just a moment...50$ for 3 ships. You will only use 1, so basically you are buying 3 powers which are not even worth considering. So yeah, waaay beyond insane prices.

STO + Microtransactions is beyond balance. Look at Lotro. At least they have weekly sales to promote stuff and fluff. Excuse me, but when exactly did we have the last sale????
I can understand that the company relies on the store now, but seriously...stay reasonable. The store pricing is just like the gas prices atm.

These are no deals for me. I am very happy in my Excelsior Refit. Best cruiser if you ask me.

But hey, thanks for everyone who buys these and finances the game and future C-Store items without long term content. :)

Its a cruiser that has more of a % to science. It isn't a science ship and to be honest, should not come with SA either...

I'm going to get the Odyssey bundle.

I definitely think it's overpriced. I'm already happy with my Odyssey Star Cruiser as well and I don't feel the urge to 'upgrade' - I'm fairly content.

But, I also want to take into account the amount of effort and energy that went into making these "flagships" from start to finish. The attempt at making a contest, the Dev Diaries that came out of it, CapnLogan's efforts to cater to the STO community by exchanging feedback with the playerbase with the Odyssey (for example, the impulse thrusters on the nacelle pylons was a suggestion he took from me), the effort into creating a flagship for the KDF that CapnLogan championed, and his farewell present to us in the "Aquarius" Odyssey bridge.

I do not think I'll be getting the bang for my buck... so, I think of the excess more as a donation. One made to promote the game. This is my way of saying "thank you" for trying to make STO as good as it can be.

Though I may not be voting with my wallet, I will give the warning that further price inflations in the future may be viewed with far less tolerance. A lot of promotional expenses and manhours went into making the flagship - I can understand and honor that - but don't stretch your luck, Cryptic. If I get the ship I want and cover the content until I feel I've completed the game... I might not be around for as an active player in STO's third year. It's up to you to make sure the content the game has to offer makes it worth it for me to use the Odyssey in.

Well, I bought the Odyssey bundle. Would have been happy to buy one ship plus a bundle containing just the consoles, but hey....

Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong, but the calls for nerfs remind me of when people were requesting that the bugship be nerfed. I forget hwo explained it, but since people (in most vases) had to pay money for a chance at one, for them to nerf it could be legally interpreted as a "Bait-and-switch".

I think nerfing the flagships now that they're actually out and purchased would even more easily be considered a bait-and-switch... considering they are directly purchased.

TL;DR: Expect buffs to the flagships, if anything. Don't expect nerfs. They could get in trouble if they do.

Free2lose, first time's free drug dealers, cryptic. that's what you are.

AGAIN, thanks for ruining a decent game!

Don't think I will be purchasing these.

I already purchased the sao paulo and defiant refits, both cause the chase camera to bug out and enter an endless swinging loop (or switches by itself to free cam) on most sharp turns making them almost useless, and still no fixes for them. Paying more money for something that will probably be bugged and will never get fixed does not seem like a good idea.

I can only base my purchase decisions on the quality of previous products. Pitty, I love the game, but stupid bugs really annoy me.

Great. Not only is the bundle overpriced, but you guys released a reskin of the Odyssey cruiser while still not delivering on the new escort?

Btw, regarding the escort: could it please be a ranked up version of the Fleet Escort? It would be nice to have the engineering slots. They're a lifesaver against the Borg.
