We really appreciated your patience while we worked on getting the server back up. We had our "top men and women" working on this issue, and this crash has provided some extremely valuable data that will aide in getting to the root of the issue.
UPDATED @ 6:40pm PST:Star Trek Online is now up!
While this was longer than expected, there is some good news that is coming out of it! Tomorrow's patch was released today, so there is not a second downtime tomorrow.
This also means that the Gamma Quadrant Duty Officer Cadre will be available for purchase tonight! SWEET!
Thanks again for your patience, and see you in-game!
I finally fix my issue (hopefully... fingers crossed) and now it goes down?!?:mad::mad:
Guess it's time to log into WoW.
I'd prefer to play STO, but you guys are really making that hard to do.
Sheesh already! This really takes alot of the fun out of playing STO You set time aside to play and then you end up sitting around waiting for the server to be fixed again & again & again!
Also I promise I will internet punch the first fool to ask why they weren't warned about the server coming down. Because until they hire a professional server clairvoyant, it's really hard to offer forewarning about a sudden crash.
If there was a trombonist who played a little defeatest "wuh-wahhhhh" every time the server crashed, that trombonists lips would be getting pretty tired about now.
So lets set a pool up to see how long it takes them to fix this particular one. My guess is the average 2 hours it takes them to fix anything, so 7:45ish EST

Its your fault then..you did something you weren't supposed to!
O.o i wanna know where we can collect those
I really hope you meant "Gear"
(Literally. I was 40% of the way loading back into normal space)
Server not responding: 530 seconds and counting.

borg ear collection, new trend
You obviously haven't tried to play Sword of the Stars II. That one is Failed Game of a Lifetime.
Kind of interesting to note that they had "best new MMO of the year" not so long ago.

Well of course it is! I mean, it wouldn't be a normal week if we didn't have this happen at least once every other day...just keeping with routine.
Seriously though, folks, is this really "unexpected" to anyone but the STO staff?
It's getting a little old.
