I might have mentioned this before, but... time to invest in some backup servers.

Typical, "The website is undergoing maintenance, your game play will not be affected." Yeh right.

Every time anyone even pokes the holodeck the darn thing practically blows up and were all booted for four hours or so...

So that's why I dropped 3 times before: crash on the way.

And how long will this one take, appx?

backup servers would be pointless and cost more money and time than they are worth.. it would be impossible to keep all the information in sync at all times and then when and if the backup servers where kicked it you'd have people complaining cause they are not where they left off on the live server... either way you have complainers whining and complaining... some people just need to get a life...

May I respectfully ask about an ETA? I understand this may be one of those "Crash N' Patch" things and it's just unknown, any heads up would be appreciated. Makes you wish Scotty was here...

i was in the middle of doing the last FED Mirror event. its no great loss, but now its cutting into the KDF mirror side, was planning on getting a bit of fast dil and quick leveling.

while your at it with the server, you should also consider it for your site, its just as 'reliable' as your server is so far.

As a lifer im not seeing this game lasting long now it always crashes and you on staff do nothing to fix it, yet you want us to spend money left and right in the cstore but dont use the money we spend to upgrade anything, buy more servers, break up servers gold and silver servers anything to prevent this TRIBBLE from happeneing

The server infrastructure of Perfect World needs some serious upgrading now that there are so many Freepers playing the game. This is the second Login Server failure in the past week. I was a Freeper and I am now a paying Sub'er and I am pleased with the direction of this game with the many UI and mission updates, the new C-Store items (except for this lame Cardassian Box idea), and the Featured Episodes "2800" are excellent and very much make you feel like you are in an episode. PW needs to take this influx of cash and either upgrade the server we all use...or create some new servers like every other darn MMORPG to relieve the stress and load on the single server we all play on. Lets get this done right PW, thanks!

This "Unexplained Downtime" issue is really getting old. I love new content but when they develop the universes ugliest shuttle (3 guesses for which one) over server stability...hmmmmm
