I have decide to use The episode named: Best of Both worlds.

I will need players when it comes to the Wolf 359 Fight because as you know 17 ships where destroyed during that fight.
I almost forgot to mention you will need BASIC Phasers and Torpedoes

the First 17 will be guaranteed a place during this video.
I need you to leave:
Ship Name, Registration, Ships Class, Captains Name, how many crew members, and you steam ID: (If you have one) in this format

Name:

Steam ID:

Ship name:

Ship Registration:

Captain Name:

Crew aboard:

Captain Rank:

Ship Requirements: Rear Admiral, Upper Half and below but the equipment can vary.
Cannot have too many Rear admirals though, i can have max 2 rear admirals
3 captains
the rest can be Lieutenant commander and below

As for the gamer mod he will be a lone Borg cube which will Destroy my ship and the 17 others within 2 minutes, you must have the most basic gear for your ships , I will be recording as i go along (Once i have discovered how to minimize my HUD

Please get into contact ASAP so recording can begin.

Afraid I can't sign up for this epic project, but I have some advice for the ships you should allow:

    Nebula
    Excelsior
Constitution (one wreck is visible in the TNG episode as a constitution hull)
    Miranda
    Cheyenne
Galaxy (not seen, but one may have been involved in the fight)

Klingon ships might've been involved in the fight but not seen or referenced in the episode. I'd suggest:

    B'rel
    K'tinga
    Vor'cha

Just about every other ship type is outside the TNG timeline and is inappropriate for the re-enactment.

Where did we learn it was Endeavor that survived? I don't recall anything about that in the shows or movies.

The third edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia, on page 135 apparently, according to Memory Alpha http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/USS_Endeavour_(NCC-71805)

The Encyclopedia isn't really considered canon. Though I guess that's a matter of opinion.

i would like to join in on it, but without 100% a gaurantee that a cryptic GM will join in and be the borg cube, then you kiss any chance of this idea goodbye.

in the aftermath of the battle of wolf 359, there was something that looked like an intrepid class ship in the debris when the ENT-D arrived, it's likely such a thing was a prototype. but as far as the saratoga is concerned, how are you going to turn a torpedo extension module into the two side mounted things on the miranda? what about the Ambassador class? i destinctly remember seeing a neb and ambassador ships doing a manouver and then attacking the cube while the saratoga was being drained of its shields.

besides the ovbious, the powers of each ship and the effects will need to be removed or stripped down, the borg cutting beam cant be red and 3 seperate beams, it must be a single solid greenish-white beam, the the holding beam has a dual purpose and is blue, not green... so on.

You might convince Farktoid to do it. He's been ingame before as destroyable ships and Borg Drones, it was pretty fun

I can help out if you want, depending on when you do it.

    Ship name: USS Westminster

    Ship Registration: NX-92296

    Captain Name: Suricata

    Crew aboard: 50

    Captain Rank: Vice Admiral

I can ofcourse switch to a more canon ship that may of been there, such as an Akira, or failing that I can make a new char and bring a Miranda along ;-)

(Remember not the bump threads as obviously btw) ;)

At the very least I would recommend you familiarize yourself with demorecord if you haven't already. IMO the best tool available to record in-game movies like what you are proposing.

Also why is rank important? If you're thinking lower ranks so it's easier to destroy the ships, having a high rank character in a low tier ship is pretty much the same as having a character of the apropriate rank for that ship.

It was 40 Federation ships that took part in the attack of Wolf 359, not 17. 39 were destroyed. The surviving ship was the USS Endeavour

One of the ships that survived is canon, which is the Cheyenne class U.S.S. Ahwahee NCC 71620 - she was salvaged from the battle.
The USS Ahwahnee (NCC-71620) was a Federation Cheyenne-class starship that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century.

The Ahwahnee, along with 38 other starships, fought the Borg at the Battle of Wolf 359 on stardate 44002. The ship was discovered adrift and decimated by the USS Enterprise-D following the battle. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II")

After being salvaged, in early 2368, the Ahwahnee joined Captain Picard's fleet that blockaded the Klingon-Romulan border during the Klingon Civil War. It was positioned near the lower rear of the tachyon detection grid.

According to the quote above from Memory Alpha - the ship count was 39 not 40, least thats what it appears to be.

If you haven't found a Captain to command an Oberth Class I can assist you with this.

    Name: BlackV7

Steam ID: (Don't have one - but you can PM me or send me a in game mail - @BlackV7)

    Ship name: U.S.S. Sarek

    Ship Class: Oberth Class

    Ship Registration: NCC 92165

    Captain Name: T'Rinn (Vulcan)

    Crew aboard: 80

    Captain Rank: Lt Commander 13

I can outfit the vessel with standard phasers and photon torpedoes

I tend to play more during the weekends - Fri /Sat US Eastern time - its important to set up a date and time that will be convenient for all.
