All these miniships are great... But I bought a delta flyer, then a fighter but there's still nothing to do with them really apart from the Vault. Will there ever be a miniship PVP or more miniship missions generally?
Since I help do Ship Busters over with TIE I got one, it's... not very thrilling as a shuttle. It comes with the option to make it look more like the one we saw in the show, which is basically a Danube. The new engine, while pretty, doesn't seem to proc much, and when it does there's no indication of it on the target ship. Also scorpion fighters flew right through the plasma no prob, they would de-cloak though. I'd say that the engine should have some changes to it, like increasing the duration of the gas, adding a marker to a target when it's been hit by it like every other power has, and maybe add a 25% chance to disable shields for a few seconds, and maybe let us equip it to ships as an engineering console, otherwise it's pretty useless even in PvE.
I take it they went with a design they wanted rather than what was referenced to?
If they used what was referenced on screen, it wouldn't look any different than the existing runabouts we have in game. It was all reused footage from DS9, and the Memory Alpha post even cites that there are major inconsistencies with it within the same episode. Further, that episode is from an alternate (aborted?) timeline anyway.
Looks OK, but I still think it was an utter waste of Art&Design Time. They could have spend it on other, more wanted ships like the Sovereign-Refit ...

You have a point but still makes you wonder why make it in the first place due to lack of shuttle/runabout/small ship, events or missions or anything that forces a requirement of a small ship.

I believe you'll have your answer to that one tomorrow.
I'm among those who already has more shuttles than he can handle (all of the Federation shuttles to date, minus the Vulcan one), so I don't think I'll be picking this up.
I really like how it visually picks up more cues from the +1 Fed ships. There are elements there which are quite reminiscent of the Sao Paulo and Thunderchild classes. I'm glad to see more ships that push Starfleet more toward the 25th century.
I do, though, wonder what all the torpedo ports are for. =P
When shuttlebays come out, I admit that I would really like seeing the shuttles I have displayed there. The Yellowstone could look quite badass seen up close with the kind of details the Type 6 shuttle's ground model has. I figure its odd ventral shape will at least be supported with landing gear to make up for it.
Another high point for me there is how it was made to externally match the current shuttle interior. So, finally, we have ship exteriors pretty decently matching ship interiors that's something else than the Danube.
Looks like the angle is pushing out a lot of c-store content to buy that theres not much to do with it like these shuttles. Although would be fun if each stf had a possibility of an extra group to join in space ones if they were all in shuttles just for some misc fun rofl

It's a really good looking shuttle. Tempting to buy for the skin alone. Unfortunately I am up to my eyeballs in shuttles. I barely get to use the ones I have.
Had this come with decent Runabout interior, this purchase would have been made in a heart beat.
It's really nice looking, it's like a the shuttle version of a Bentley!
I'm thinking about picking one up once I get to RA. It's really cool looking. And the engine sounds like a cool thing, it's like a bonus along with the awesome skin.
Has anyone else had a problem getting the shuttle? It seems to have dissapeared from the C-Store for me once I log in on the website and is completely missing in game. I bought it, went to put it on two other characters and it doesn't show up.

In regards to the design. It looks ok i guess.

The Shuttles engine is not bound
One can claim the shuttle, get the engine then dismiss it and repeat as one wishes.
The engine can then be mailed to your KDF toon to use
yup the exchange is flooded with them
Tomorrows mission is a shuttle mission.
It looks very nice with all the borg stuff, shame it's a shuttle and all that.
or more so shame shuttles don't have as much use as full ships.
And then you see the perspective view.
*throws up inside*
A shuttle STF would be great.
Here I was hoping it was a new way to do special ship items, oh well.

Good work art team!
Maybe you get it ... with the Voyager Bundle.
Any clues?
Have the same problem.
Will this be fixed by tomorrows FE?
Jolan'tru
That's not true i claimed it on 2 different character but now i can't find it
Right.. that's the bug... once claimed, your other characters can't... you got lucky with the two.. lol
