Greetings and thank you in advance for reading this post.
I am very close to making Captain and really getting into the meat of the game now, and can say I love the content so far. I figured it would be time to look into a nice fleet.
I'm 26 and work a regular full time position, and am looking for a mature Fleet to run with. One that would hopefully understand bills, real life obligations, etc. I generally have a lot of free time in between work and trips and have a pretty extensive amount of MMO experience. Warcraft, EVE, Star Wars Old Republic, and Planetside.
I currently run a Vulcan Science Officer and while I love it. I'm sure I could expand on the character and become much better. I am a swift learner and in a leadership position myself have proven to be friendly and fair. I am very easy to get on with and pretty easy going guy.
I also don't mind RP. I have experience in RP guilds as well, and enjoy the experience. I'm completely open to any RP fleet openings.
This is my first post and while I did my best to look over the rules and etiquette I'm sure I've missed something and apologize in advance, I also thank you for the time to read over my post here and consider my application.
Vulcan named Tok'er, Commander (lvl 27 at the time of posting). In command of the U.S.S. Flying Dutchman. Nebula Class Science Vessel. Thank you for your time.
Good afternoon. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. We are a small but great fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but thats part of what makes us great.
Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game and in some cases RL. We have a fleet TeamSpeak3 server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast and Midwest (USA), Europe and now even parts of the Middle East.
Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL too. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and that some time is needed to sort things out.
So please, think about joining and moving with us into 2410 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.
I believe it would be a good idea to take a look at the {UFP}! We're a friendly fleet which has been in existence for 9+ years, supporting every Star Trek game there is... or at least most of them!
We are a worldwide fleet that welcomes everyone from the newest F2P player to the grizzled lifer whose been around since Beta and before.
The {UFP} has quarterly award ceremonies to recognize those who have contributed to the success of the fleet, publishes an e-zine on a regular basis, and hosts events in-game several times each week as well as for special in-game events.
The best way to get to know us is to visit our website, which you can do by clicking my signature banner below. Also, feel free to send me a message and ask any questions you may have. I'm not going to bore you to death here.... you have already done some homework. The next stiep is to take the personal visit to the fleet. I think you'll be glad you did. Just tell 'em Stormy sent ya.
BSC is still in the process of regrowing now that f2p has come about. If you'd like to be involved among old and new players alike, then come and check us out.
We're an easygoing community with a reasonably busy vent server and plenty of mature players (not always acting that maturely of course!)
