Some Player in Zone chat " They should have instances (missions) dedicated just for moron groups".
My Response " They already do. They are called STF PUG's." (Pick Up Groups)
What made the comment classic was that I was responding to someone in Zone Chat, but I accidently made in in the EliteSTF channel as a misstell and was trying to explain myself which made them laugh even harder.
I've been in some pugs that completed elites with several minutes left on the timer. It's luck of the draw if you get a good group or a bad one. Making such generalizations denotes a lack of insight. Having said that, I try to only run STFs with my fleet.

This thread is for humour puposes.
There is a dedicated chat channel called "EliteSTF" to avoid the noid of PUG's.
You might want to open future humor threads in ten forward.
Whatever...
It also serves as an announcement to tell people about the EliteSTF channel which is recomended on the official STO list of Global moderated channels at this link which I think makes it appropriate. http://www.stowiki.org/Global_Channel_Directory
That is not an in game chat message. It is a forum post.
Your more than welcome to start your own thread using what you think are funny forum posts, but please try and keep this one on topic.
Someone has never heard about humour.

I see you edited the post to add my last line. I like how you took something from me to the heart.
A pinch of sugar in heavy cream makes it easier to whip. (maybe an old wives tales but whatever... it works!)
Whilst sitting outside of Memory Alpha place (in space) there was loads and many-a ship sitting there also, all facing the planet as is the set-up for warping in to places.
Someone commented "Wow - it's like one big sci-fi drive-in movie" - I paraphrase probably.
"What a game", I thought. "Both funny AND true"
Oh how we laughed...... well I did anyways.....
One conversation I was invovled in went like this:
Player 1: I'm in this Borg invasion mission solo!
Me: Use the Death Blossom Manouver
Player 2: But it hasn't been tested
player 3: It'll be a slaughter... You're slaughter
Playing as my toucan character, I stumbled into an instance where an argument about furries was taking place. I went to where the people were gathered and started dancing like I usually do.
The person most against the furries came over and started dancing with me while bashing them. It was ... odd. After more bashing while dancing with a bird-man, I decided to leave and waved bye. I got "later nerd, nice boots". This amused me on so many levels.

I in my level 20 obsolete Bird of Prey with standard Mark V bone stock equipment was leading a Federation team of new players against the daily Borg invasion red alert mission. Yes, Federation ships led by a Klingon!
We had quite a hard time with the cubes due to everyone's basic weapons and so it was hopeless against the Unimatrix mothership later on.
Until one of the Federation players had a bright idea.
Ramming speed and Abandon Ship abilities
Amazingly it worked. One of the small escorts managed to slip his way close to the Borg mothership and detonated his warp core destroying its forward shields. We almost managed to destroy the mothership but alas, the timer ran out.
Next time.... I shall tell them to kamikaze en masse. Banzai!!!

Those are quite RARE. Most of pugs I've been in always fail optional.

I actually find this insulting...
So, a lot of my fleetmates are on later than I am...so what do I do? I go into the queue or find a group....
Comments
I asked it as a serious question.
Me: "What is it with all this hoopla about uniforms and cosmetic looks of Alts.
Has anyone considered the fact that your playing with Dolls "Digital Dolls" ?
I admit it.
I like playing with space ships, but I can't for the life of me wrap my head arround all these people playing with dolls. What Gives?"
Along with the all the LOL"s came a response from one person who replied...
"They are not dolls. They are Action Figures"

.... had to be there I guess
Been there and thought the same thing to myself.
Good one.
We were lamenting the Federation and their love of pillow-like objects such as tribbles, sheep (considered by the warriors to be legged tribbles) etc.
And then one by one we decided "True Warriors" don't gossip like housewives and we went to hunt some poor Federation little ships....
