Bajor Looks Nice

I like the improvement made to Bajor, at least it doesn't look like a barren wasteland now.

The Bajorans have grown tiresome. Why has the focus of Star Trek come to rest so heavily on this one race?

There's nothing about Bajorans that warrants the placement of so much focus upon them. They're stagnant, traitorous, treacherous, superstitious, self-absorbed and arrogant terrorists. Why are things starting to rotate around this malformed species?

When can we start acting like the Cardassians, Orions, Andorians, Betazoid, Gorn, etc are important? There are plenty of races in lore that deserve attention. The Cardassians are the best thing that ever happened to that gaggle of creepy monkeys. If not for them the Bajorans would have sat around spitting on each other, worshipping space hole aliens as Gods and stagnated until the end of eternity.

Glad they listened to that rant about Bajor. It looks a TON better. ;)

But one thing, I only saw 2 moons. Bajor supposed to have five (5) moons.

Haha, it might just be your avatar, but I just read this in Dukat's voice. Fits perfectly.

True words, other than I disagree and will assert that Romulans, whose world was cruelly taken from them by a trek-wrecking fanboy, are the finest gift to the galaxy.

this is the first group of missions to focus on the Bajorans, only one or two missions in the normal progression actually deals with them I believe. The rest just focus on the Cardassians.

So Trek does not focus heavily on the Bajorans, it hasn't since DS9.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

I actually didn't see the rant until after I was scheduled to fix it up. I noticed the same issues when I first played the new FE. "Is that supposed to be Bajor?"

Anyway, there should be 5 moons now. From the start spawn, 2 (Jeraddo and Derna) will be off to the right, 2 will be to the left/behind you, and one will be on the far side of the planet.

They may disappear at a distance if you have your world geo draw distances set low, or are running on an older card.

Ah, wow what a dramstic change....why did it take 2 years to go from a dead planet to an M class....I almost can't believe that's Bajor.

It was only added a year ago with the diplomacy missions.
I don't even think it was ever intended to be a Bajor, (Why were a couple of Cardassians in orbit around Bajor arguing about who did what?) but another planet in the Bajoran system, I mean it looked nothing like Bajor before.

There was a mission that took place there I believe, but you couldn't enter it all the time. I don't remember what Mission, but I don't think that was meant to be THE Bajor, but as I said another planet in the solar system.

Shouldn't we start with making Earth and Qo'nos the best they can be before throwing effort at the Bajorans? Did they get emotional? DId the Bajorans cry in order to get this? hehe

The FE Focuses on the Bajor system.

They did the same thing to Vulcan when they Remastered that one mission.

I disagree. DSL did focus heavily upon them and it ha continued here. We had Star Fleet officers getting the option to were Bajoran uniforms and badges, DS9 is now a place of focus for high level items, and now we're getting cultist costumes, native weaponry, and now a social zone on their world. Why could this social zone have been on Cardassia or any other number of places?

Because the Wormhole is in the Bajor System.

Looks the same to me. Matter of perspective I guess. Yesh they threw in some ground trash, but how about a functioning starfleet command back on earth? Better use of time imo

They focus on areas when they need it for content. They made SFA because they planned on putting the new Tutorial there. They revamped Drozana station because of the Dividian FE series, Etc.

Bajor received it's update because we made a mission to go there, thus, calling attention to it. We all thought it looked crappy (or, at least, not like the Bajor shown in the TV show). So we fixed it.

There are likely other systems which also look nothing like they should, but I don't know what those are, because I haven't been playing any missions to call my attention to them.

Not to be overly critical (I know, I get that way at times) but I think we would have been better served by something more... universal in appeal getting the development attention. Is this what took so long for the series to publish?

    Awesome work!
Could you also take a look at the Sol System?
I think the distance between Bajor and its moons are far more appropriate than the distance between Earth and its moon. (Earth's moon looks like its about to crash on the planet)

I believe the missions had something to do with the Fire Caves, which are on Bajor, can't remember the name of it.

Not to mention the Moon is higher than it should be.

I love the new map. Especially the Bajoran star. It's so bright and shiny. Any chance of replacing all the other system's stars (which look rather dull, more like brown dwarfs) with it?
