Devs: Console changes good..but you forgot some consoles!

Consoles like the light phaser satellite and the tactical automated defense turret (not the one from the thunderchild) are still bound to tactical console slots only.

Also, the grappler from the NX is pointless to use over tractor beam 1. Could you not change it to:

8km range
'Reels in' target to 2km range in 5 seconds time
does not snare but prevents evasive maneuvers & any movement buff effect from boff abilities.
-10% defense


also, the Nadeon Detonator needs to not be tied to the timer of torpedoes. Its a console not a weapon so it should not be bound by the same timer.

Finally, if you're reading this.. how about changing transphasics torpedoes to have a high yield special attack like the plasma does? Make that high yield version penetrate the shields and hit the hull directly for the damage equivalence of high yield 2 it does now.

    the shockwave torp isnt tied to the torpedos. (it does share a cooldown with high yeild and spread though. only a 15 second cooldown)

    the grappler isnt entirely pointless. use it in combo with a 4 peice borg set and you dont need to take a tractor beam so u have a free power slot.

    although i do like the idea you present for the grappler. nothing like watching a shuttle real in a carrier or battle cruiser.

    That cooldown is what needs to go. Hence, its tied to.

    umm no. because its still a torpedo effect. its a little something called "balance" which this game is already lacking enough of. it has a 3 min cooldown. and normal torp powers have a 30 second cooldown. time it right and you never have an issue.
