I started runing klingon missions on elite thinking maybe the boxes might give more rare items I was wrong they do not
so far I have only gotten a crossfire tribble and a kdf console which I am using
why do I keep getting same TRIBBLE though hmm what good is recording what loot we get out of them
if you keep getting the same stuff over and over again and

enough of the gamma supplies please every other one I get is that
today I opened 5 2 were aux bateries and 3 hmm let me see hmm oh gamma supplies
I picked these up on elite
change it so get more rare stuff on elite save the supply cap for normal
this prooves I am right it is a money grab players were saying it last night
Q: What do I get when I open a Cardassian Lock Box?
A: You will get ONE (not every one of) the following items:
A box with a Cardassian Galor class cruiser starship. This box can only be opened by a character of level 40 or higher. This box can be traded until it is opened. Once it is opened, the starship cannot be traded.
A box with a powerful cross-faction starship console. When opened by a Federation character, it contains the Graviton Pulse Generator console (which is normally only available to Klingon players who purchase the Puyjaq Raptor), and when opened by a Klingon character, it contains an Impulse Burst console (which is normally only available to Federation players that purchase the Gladius Escort). This is the only way to get a console that is normally restricted to the other faction, making these consoles especially valuable. This box can be traded until it is opened. Once it is opened, the console item cannot be traded.
A box with a Crossfire Tribble. This ground combat themed Tribble provides a small damage boost in shooter mode and a small damage resistance in RPG mode. The box can be traded before it is opened, but after it is opened the Tribble cannot be traded.
A Duty Officer Pack just like the ones sold in the C-Store. This item can be traded.
A Large Commendation Boost, which grants a 20% bonus to Commendation XP for up to 10,000 CXP before it is fully consumed. This item can be traded.
A smaller Commendation Boost, which grants a 20% bonus to Commendation XP for up to 2,000 CXP before it is fully consumed. This item can be traded.
A Skill Point Boost, which grants a 20% bonus to Skill Points for up to 1,000 SP before it is fully consumed. This item can be traded.
A box with a shuttle pet. When opened by a Federation character, it contains a Runabout companion pet. When opened by a Klingon character, it contains a Toron shuttle companion pet. The box can be traded until it is opened. Once it is opened, the acquired pet cannot be traded.
A box with a Dilithium Horta companion pet that can be used by both Federation and Klingon characters. The box can be traded until it is opened. Once it is opened, the acquired pet cannot be traded.
A box with a Sehlat Cub companion pet that can be used by both Federation and Klingon characters. The box can be traded until it is opened. Once it is opened, the acquired pet cannot be traded.
A box that when opened unlocks the Deep Space Nine Federation Costume Pack for the account. It can be opened by either Federation or Klingon, but the resulting costume parts are only usable by Federation characters on the account. The box can be traded before it is opened.
A Shield Pack box. This box contains a random blue or purple quality shield for a starship or personal shield for ground use. The item awarded is at the appropriate level for the character that opens the box.
A box with a stack of Gamma Quadrant commodity items for use in Duty Officer missions. There are 6 different commodity types available, and youll get a 5 item stack of one of the types. These are used for some new DS9 themed Duty Officer missions that are being introduced at the same time as the Cardassian Lock Box.
A box with a stack of double bonus consumables that improve two stats in combat, instead of just one. For example, a Shield and Auxiliary Battery. There are 8 different consumables (4 for space and 4 for ground) available, and youll get a 5 item stack of one of the consumable types.
Q: What is a Cardassian Lock Box Gold?
A: There is a rare chance of getting an extra special Cardassian Lock Box Gold instead of a normal one when playing. These boxes cannot be traded or sold to other players. They can be acquired by playing the game and getting them as loot drops, or as a rare chance when purchasing a Cardassian Lock Box via the STF General Merchandise store.
Q: How is a Cardassian Lock Box Gold different from a normal Cardassian Lock Box?
A: The Gold boxes are special in two ways. First, they have a substantially better chance of awarding the more desirable items. Second, they have a slightly different list of rewards. The possible rewards are:
A box with a Cardassian Galor class cruiser starship. See above for details.
A box with a powerful cross-faction starship console. When opened by a Federation character, it contains the Graviton Pulse Generator console, and when opened by a Klingon character, it contains an Impulse Burst console. See above for details.
A Crossfire Tribble. See above for details..
A Duty Officer Pack. See above for details.
A Large Commendation Boost. See above for details.
A Shield Pack box. See above for details.
A stack of team bonus consumables. These consumables improve two stats in combat for the whole team (if they are within range), not just for the player who uses one. There are 8 different consumables (4 space and 4 ground) available, and youll get a 5 item stack of one of the consumable types. This item is only available in the Gold Lock Box.
