2800 Game Wide Resolution

I'm hoping that the 2800 series will put an end to some of the conflicts. If Public Enemy Number One id the Borg, and all we fight as Vice Admirals and first time logins are Borg, why do we bother fighting the Klingons? It's not like if the war ended you would have to can all the Klingon missions or PvP. There are those within the Empire that go rogue and try to cause dissidence without the full consent of the High Command. Just because Feds and Klingons were to become allies, doesn't mean Captains on both sides wouldn't pick fights over boarder skirmishes or that B'Vat wouldn't try to kidnap Miral Paris. In fact, Klingons could play those missions if they were allies with the Federation. The scenario would simply change to: "B'Vat has gone crazy, go stop him." An Act of War in space is very different from an Act of War here and now. Out there, investigations are launched and can easily be ruled as mutual combat meaning both sides effed up and both sides will agree that it was a simply misunderstanding and move on.

All out War does not have to continue. Please, make it stop:D

I think at this point, the Klingon war IS over. Especially with the whole introduction of the Honor Guard, and the Omega Force, both Starfleet and the Klingons have ceased hostilities to fight the borg. A temporary cease fire, perhaps. Though I agree that in the end, I would love to see the Federation and the Klingons buddy buddy.

The Feds don't fight the Klingons. The Klingons are fighting the Feds. The Feds keep trying to use Diplomacy with them - even after they attacked the shattered Romulan Empire. The problem is the Klingons believe the Undine have infiltrated the Federation and are now secretly controlling everything. It's the Klingons' irrational hatred of Undine which have caused the problems. :)

After playing the new featured episode I have to wonder where my captain's real loyalties lie. I felt more a part of the Omega Force than the Federation or the KDF. Which is true for my mains.

I wonder why. Even one of the loading screen tips mentions that Starfleet is higly infiltrated by the Undine. So were the Gorn and the Undine in the Federation managed to convince the rest to condemn the Klingon act instead of helping them.

The Federation would always condemn an allied species attacking the shattered Romulan empire to gain territory. Undine aren't needed for that.

Besides, doesn't everyone believe the Chancellor is really an Undine? :)

Um... considering the Romulan story arc I don't think the Federation has any business condemning others. :)

I'll have to ask him the next time we meet.

As it was mentioned earlier, I want it to end so we can team up and do missions together. We can sort of half do it now, but I'd like to be able to do story missions with the Klingons

I actually don't. It would be too cliche.

I've been operating under the pet theory that his ties to Duras gave him ties to the Romulans who were working with the Iconians and that he's intent on betraying his own people.

However, the new Path to 2409 Academy missions suggest that J'mpok is a puppet for the leader of the Orions.

In any case, the Undine witch hunt being led by an Undine would have to be masterfully done at this point, especially when the Undine are not the game's ultimate villains; they're really just the adversary we'll deal with alongside or after the Borg but both are threats we're clearly meant to neutralize. (Especially since we're being setup to kill the Borg Queen in the next STF.)

I personally think this would be great with one or two exceptions (mainly, Second Star to the Right), and could be leveraged to promote teaming to get rewards that are normally faction specific. If you exclude the Federation/Klingon War missions, it works for me.
