I missed the server message today that the system would come down for maintenance. Thank you for keeping the game running so awesomely, btw!
Thing is, I had stepped away for a moment and thought I was disconnected for being idle. So, I tried to log back in. It sat there. And sat there. And sat there, trying to make a connection to the log in server.
Eventually, I sprouted a brain cell and alt+tabbed to check server status. Hmm... Undergoing maintenance. Then it was a waiting game of wasting time watching a static screen.
So, why not add a button? "Cancel". When pushed, the method or thread or what-have-you that makes the connection exits, and the interface returns to the log in screen. We always take for granted such little things, don't we? But where we realize that, we see a chance for an easy little improvement.
Thanks for reading!

It's a small improvement, but those are the best kind. I don't have knowledge of their software when it comes to the client's code, but it would be very surprising if a button would be technically unsound. It's not often I actively hope a developer sees a post, but in this case, pretty please, developer code god guru chief persons
