Sooo...Who else took out the Jem'Hadar Dreadnaught?

Took me about ten deaths, but I did it. First went and rescued all the Fed ships, and inch by inch beat that ship down to nothing. Should've been an accolade for that.

I died once. Took the ship out the second try. It took forever, but finally got it blown up. Then realized it wasn't part of my mission objectives, lol.

It took a while..., but my Cardie-Head, U.S.S. BASHIR..., took it out... (without dying) :)

Then also realized, it wasn't the main goal.... :o

I killed them all. I also had the pleasure of watching my ship explode precisely after my second respawn.

Next time do that after coming back to the DS9. You'll even have the NPCs for help.

I did the objectives then went back and finished it off. Was kinda hoping it would have a nice peice of loot or accolade attached to it due to the fact it took so long to take down.

I was in my lowly old BOP, seemed when it left off it's 100 super quantum torpedoes I just couldn't keep up. :D

Heh... mine gave me a Mk-X Polaron Duel Heavy Cannon...

(Cardie-Head Ship, with Engineer Capt..., . real excited about that one.)

You'd think They'd at least attach Mk-XI Stuff, to the first new FE in over a year...

Yep - didn't even bother rescuing the other ships 'til I had too - Dreadnaught was long dead by then...

Did it on my main...took quite a bit to blow up the whale.
I thought there might be an accolade attached, but nada :(

Died the first time when I rushed into the fresh out of the wormhole group with the dread full impulse and beam fire at will blazing. :p Got it down after respawn & after doing the objectives together with the NPCs.

Yep me and a friend decided to do it . . got to 11 clicks and then the ships we rescued via the optional jumped in so we figured why not. . It was a blast and in the end we joked about how we stopped the invasion so no new buggy episodes to finish off the new campaign lol. .
Unfortunately whether it was related to taking out the dreadnought or an underlying bug i wasn't able to complete the replay option. . which left me mad and saddened for all the work for nothing. . .But it was still fun to stop the invasion lol

I beat it. I found (by accident) that if you rescue a couple of the other ships first, they will join in you fighting the Dreadnaught.

I took that out.. and then went back to DS9 ---took out all those ships... then left... then flew back to DS9 and started over again..

I also finished the mission.. went to bajor... the mission wasn't over.... so I had to go thru the meeting again.. and fight on the base.. then take out the jem Ha'dar again....

Encounter it, dieid, finish the mission with 3 ships lost (on the Fed side).

Redo on the second try, ignore it and got the Fed ships saved.

Like everyone said, not part of the objectives....didn't waste the time.

I died about 3 times during the initial fight with all the other ships. They, for some reason, all focused their weapons on me at times and ripped my shields down and caused a boom boom on my ship. The dreadnaught took a long time, but I eventually got him after I eliminated his escort.

I didn't linger overmuch beyond my mission objectives. As far as I was concerned my ship was carrying VIPs (the ambassadors) and I needed to make sure they escaped unscathed.

I most certanily did...then a second wave appeared at the wormhole with another Dread. Beat that wave and was rewarded with a Cardassian Lock Box!!! I wonder what mysterious treasure that box contains!!! </sarcasm>

I (and my new fleet) stayed to fight, I led them back to DS9 where we'd have the defence grid and was able to take down a wormhole mob and heal all of my NPC's up to full before the next arrived, in theory I could have stopped the 2800 if I had the time IRL. Even put tactical team on station turrets to "beam reinforcements" aboard. Next time I'll do that to a shuttle first to "offload the VIPs", didn't think of that, but didn't die eitehr, so no harm, no foul. That said, I was teamed with somebody who left, so we'll say he had the VIPs. The mobs were easy to whittle down one ship at a time, drawing enough agro to keep your buddies alive, but not so much as to get roflstomped.

The main reason I decided to stay and kill stuff wasn't accolades, it was having a pretty cool fleet follow me rather than doing it's own thing, excellent way of making somebody feel like an admiral.

I tried, thinking it was an objective...but when the respawn out of combat let me warp to Bajor and I saw how long it was going to take to defeat it, I hightailed it out of there. But I'll be back...with better BOffs and better equipment >=)

Next time do that after coming back to the DS9. You'll even have the NPCs for help.

My issues with the "Help TRIBBLE " objectives was that I had no idea where they where and had to open my main map to see the little "objective here" circles to know where to go and I started attacking the Jem'hadar as they came out the wormhole instead.

I cleared out all the ships with each of my characters; only my Odyssey captain had some trouble (too many SNBs knocking down DPS.)

Theta Vent was the easiest way to take down the dreadnought.

I jumped out on my hull with a red ryder bee bee gun and took out a nacelle.....she crashed into another ship....due to laughter maybe?

I did not die none the less.......
